A little help please?

Hi,

I played this game a few years ago but I forgot the name of my country, so I've made a new one today!

I have some questions though. About regions. Do I need to join one? What are the pros and cons? If I joined one I'd want one where I felt included and the people were friendly... any suggestions?

Well, you have to be in a region, although you can just stay in The North Pacific if you like. But wherever you go be sure to get involved with that region. Most have their own governments and off site forums they use. Most of the info you'll need to get started should be in the Region's WFE.

If you're looking for a good region I'd suggest The New Inquisition. We're mostly friendly and you there are plenty of ways to be involved.

As long as you're vocal and coherent people will pay attention. Same as any region, and in fact a lot of things.

Consider regions as alliances. They usually consist of nations who share common goals, ideolgies, ect., and for roleplay purposes, the same geographical area.

Vaalbara isn't that big, but we are expanding, so the sooner you join the more say you will have in our regional government. And we have an official spellchecker, too(Mahaj)!

What exactly are you looking for? There are many, such as the ones above, all different types.

Some are Raider, Defender, or Neutral. Some are Democratic, Communist, or a Dictatorship.

I think most people are friendly fellows, but every region is unique.

If you're looking for a nice region, I suggest The Black Hawks. With a bit of effort, you can go far here and become known throughout all of NS.

May I suggest Islandia? We are a large region, but not huge. Our government is a republic, we have elections every two months, and our rights are enshrined. But more importantly, people make the difference. The founder doesn't decide what does and doesn't become law.

Our government, elected by the people, make the difference and determine the fate of our region.

Having looked at your nation's description, I think that you'd probably find the International Democratic Union a congenial home for it and you'd certainly be welcome amongst us.
