What is the story about Raideron and Anti-Raideron?

Our region has been creating a massive archive of NS News Media outlets, organized by date to make a sort of 'timeline'. Anyway. I came across this very curious new blog from 2004 called Frontset News. I was unable to find any information concerning the contributers, nor was I able to determine based on the articles where this news source originates from.

Any Ideas what region made this, or at minimum where the authors came from?

I never heard of them, and I was pretty familiar with the major news outlets of the time. They look like they were open for all of a month before closing down.

Raideron I believe was created by Feuer in a MSN chat log post-raid. Everyone then continued to mock the name and lack of creativity. It kind of caught on as a joke and quite frankly Raideron is one of the least developed and most boring deities in NS with little back story and no lore. I suggest looking at The Brotherhood of Blood's concept of Cruor for something a bit more interesting. But yeah, not really history per se just a lame joke that took off.

P.S. Never heard of Anti-Raideron which quite frankly is an even worse name than the original. =P

Your latest comments on TBR related topics in gameplay are making me believe that you have something against The Black Raiders, which I really don't care. If the "self-declared" priest of raider unity has some problems with us then he should jusy say it directly. Mocking the official God of TBR is not good diplomacy you know....

There was only one region when NS was created as far as I know, so that should be it.

Uhm, people were a lot more lax about endorsement caps in the early days + you couldn't ban anyone before regional controls got introduced. I know there was a delegate in TNP either before Nastic became delegate or in between his reigns who people weren't too fond of. The name escapes me though. I don't remember hearing anything good about InfernoIce or Sudetenland in The Pacific either, and there was the XYZ affair (sp?) in TSP, which was before I really got into gameplay. In TRR there was Jennivier who tried to oust Kandarin in the 2nd half of 2003, but he only had the delegacy for a couple of days I think before he lost it and went wandering into a couple of the feeders to try and get the delegacy there.

Deciding on what was the first feeder coup would probably depend on how you define 'coup'.
