On the Major of June 5th 2016 the forces of HYDRA Command and friends rigged the election once again in The Place that has No Big Banks after a sleeper operation lasting over a month long with Major General President We Are Not the NSA acting as the sleeper. Despite Defender attempts to stomp out our election rigging, our candidate was successfully elected.

Funny story about this infiltration btw: we invaded TPTHNBB a while back, and Summer-Rose was supposed to be a part of that invasion, but we couldn't get enough support to have any chance of holding the region. So, instead of endorsing the point like I was supposed to, I reacted to the invasion like any native would, and instead endorsed the native delegate. If I had unendorsed the native delegate and endorsed the point we would have actually held the region during the minor update that it was originally liberated. Instead, we sacrificed one infiltrator to give mine the opportunity to gain the natives trust, not to mention a chance to endotart.

And people claim R/D doesn't involve strategy.

Upcoming Elections

At the end of the month, HYDRA Command's High Council will be voting in our third bi-monthly Deputy Director Election. Hydra's current Deputy Director, General McMannia, has decided to run for reelection after his successful first term. When asked for a quote on his decision to run again, Deputy Director McMannia responded, "I might as well run again. The more the merrier." The only opposing candidate in this month's election is Major General We Are Not the NSA. When asked if he was planning on running this month, NSA responded, "I think I'll run for deputy director this time around." Such witty dialogue! When asked for her opinion of the candidates, Hydra resident Greyghost exclaimed, "Hehehe!"

The Place With No Big Banks Passworded!

After a 52 day infiltration, followed by a 28 day occupation, HYDRA Command has successfully locked down The Place that has No Big Banks. What started out as a simple mission to burn down the region's embassies, as retribution for telegram bombing HYDRA Command after our initial invasion, has turned into the longest currently ongoing occupation in Gameplay. During the initial invasion 76 days ago, the nation Summer-Rose was inserted into The Place That Has No Big Banks, and even passed up the opportunity to ensure Hydra held the delegacy, endorsing the Native delegate. 28 days ago Hydra launched its true invasion, expecting fierce resistance. To Hydra Command's surprise, before the first update after the invasion, the Native population had already started clearing out their own nations by moving them to a new region, The Region That Has No Big Banks. A few days later Hydra's victory was ensured when the Native delegate moved out of the region, dashing any hope that a liberation might come and effectively abandoning the region.

Hydra would like to thank The Kingdom of Great Britain, The Black Hawks, Auralia, Lone Wolves United, and The Invaders for their aid in securing the region, and we look forward to fighting with them in future operations. HAIL HYDRA!

We Are Not The NSA Named New Deputy Director

This month's Deputy Director Election concluded today after the Hydra High Command finished casting their votes. This was a close race through the primaries, with the previous Deputy Director McMannia putting up a fierce battle for reelection against his opponent, Major General We Are Not The NSA. Before the voting period had concluded, this reporter had the opportunity to gather statements on the Officers' opinion on this race. "Why such hard choices?" Lieutenant Malvacka wondered, while Colonel Haley Ramen, freshly back to active duty, admitted they, "just flipped a coin..."

Now that voting has concluded, the results are as followed:

My fellow raiders, it is with great honor that I accept this decision. General McMannia has done a fine job during his term, and I believe that my victory was aided simply by Hydra's urge to continue moving forwards, using where we are now as a jumping point from which we can push off towards the next chapter in our great history. We have accomplished much in the past few months, and although we had a rough beginning, I feel that we have maintained a reputation of fairness in both combat and governance. I believe that together we can continue to restore not only our honor, but the honor that all of raiderdom lost due to our region's predecessor. Together, united with our allies, we can make raiderdom great again.

Another day, another raid! Despite vast swarms some fenda presence, Sergeant Panzer Vier had a solid showing at her first triggering attempt. Ably assisted by her comrades Yuno and Rainicorns, the squad performed admirably, no doubt largely thanks to highly-capable probably at least half-incompetent leadership!

HYDRA troops, rolling along in a shiny new tank~

The troops flew along at ferocious speeds today, led once again by their fearless commander Panzer Vier. Token resistance from the fendas was summarily squashed, and they faded away to lick their wounds several minutes into the operation. As a whole, it was a good day for the team, and hopefully a sign of many more in the future!

Not to be a nerd, but you guys really need to do more with the Hydra lore. With all these pictures of cute anime girls, makes me wonder if anyone in this region knows anything about Hydra lore at all. Use of the logo and that one quote, surely you could do more. Where is Red Skull or Hive? Surprised no one has at least opted to take on one of the Hydra villains names.
