Sorry for the late report. Life has been real real tiring but this has long been overdue.

One day, while Lucklife was perusing the virtual landscapes of the World Factbook Entry, he stumbled upon a peculiar entry for a place named "Artificial Solar System" – abbreviated as ASS. To his astonishment, the permissions to modify the entry were astonishingly wide open. It was as if fate had delivered them an invitation to mischief.

With excitement bubbling in his tiny hawk heart, Lucklife gathered the gang and shared the astonishing discovery. Eyes glinting with anticipation, they decided to embark on an adventure to ASS. After a few days of waiting for the endorsements and finally gaining World Assembly delegacy, Holor couldn't resist the urge to tweak the World Factbook Entry. With a clever swipe of his wing, he slapped a new WFE on ASS. A very hard one I would assume.

Tonight, The Black Hawks, along with their friends from The Brotherhood of Malice went out to celebrate Godzilla Day by going on a rampage through the NationStates multiverse! The meager regional defenses were no match for the oncoming behemoth, who promptly took great pleasure in smashing buildings and bathing the ruins in radiation. In total, 61 regions were flattened by radioactive lizards!

The battle for Magna Aurea raged on, each side unleashing a spectacle of colors and flashes that could blind even the most seasoned warrior. The defenders, however, proved resilient, and with a coordinated effort and some Light, they managed to push the Sparkling Army out of the region.

Unbeknownst to the defenders, the Sparkling Army left behind a seemingly harmless envoy—a small hamster with a twinkle in its eye and a mischievous plan in mind. This crafty rodent, a covert operative of the Black Hawks, had been preparing for this moment for several months in advance.

Long before the raid, this black hawk had infiltrated Magna Aurea, posing as an innocent sunflower-seed-loving hamster. While the defenders were preoccupied with repelling the Sparkling Army, the hamster went about his business, casually planting sunflower seeds across the razed lands.

As weeks passed, the hamster’s influence grew just as the sunflower seeds he planted bloomed into a symbol of peace, and the defenders, enchanted by the hamster's charm, eventually helped him become the leader, even making him a co-author of a piece of paper with scribbles.

It seemed the Light and Rain the defenders brought with them, helped the sunflower seeds grow very healthy.

So it ended that the new reformed Imperial Republic of Magna Aurea, once under the threat of glittery invasion and defender intrigue, now found itself ruled by a tiny hamster with a penchant for sunflowers and a knack for deception. This operation was brought to you by The Black Hawks and the Sparkling Army. Get sacked again!

Thy Magna Aurea journey started around the end of July, when exactly? The hamster does not know anymore. I typically am a tag raider and not a stealth person, so it was a spur of the moment thing I suppose. But if I were to make a good guess on when I decided to try stealth again, probably a few days after the South Pacific raid. I expected this endeavour to be quite challenging, the fact was that I was going into this alone and more or less learning on the job. I have to give props to Mira and Rai though for helping me with the basics of course, but more or less I was going into this endeavour hanging on the edge.

Boom! Ovenerium was founded in Magna Aurea, a region I decided would be a nice place to build up my way to the top. It helped that I managed to befriend a couple of people on the RMB immediately. But there was one thing left still missing. I needed Ovenerium to be in the WA...luckily enough the perfect opportunity to seize some power presented itself. The founder conducted an election for WA-people only. Through some nice wordplay and interactions I managed to run as RomanAugustus's Tribune without much opposition. The only problem here was that I was now WA locked (gasps) but RL was keeping me from tagging so I decided "Why not". Hence I entered public office in Magna Aurea, the first step.

Things run slowly after a few weeks, with just simple activity posts from me and trying to work my way in the almost dead Discord server. But I did not have to wait long before another opportunity presented itself. The sparkling forces of the Sparkalia Army invaded and began an occupation!

Almost immediately I headed to the discord server and voila! Who did I find there? No one other than Quebecshire asking people who was in charge and how to contact the founder, Aura Banitia. Well, what do you think I did reader? I messaged Queb that Aura was mostly afk (which was kinda true tbf). And when Queb messaged back this amazing question



I answered the call to help immediately since I was a respectful officer of Magna Aurea. And as simple as that I suddenly acquired the backing of the defender cause to protect and retake the region from the ebil raiders!! Caw Caw!

Sadly, after a few failed libs with me as the Native Delegate, the defenders decided to call off further lib attempts. The war was going to turn into a battle of attrition it seemed like...and also the Security Council of course. But at least I got praise for being a big help to the defenders in preventing the total loss of the region!!




A few more days and I got a message from Westinor



tldr: it seemed Aura Banitia, the founder was trying to broker a peace agreement with the Sparkalia raiders! A couple of things happened like them joining Libcord and saying some stuff and all. For shame! For shame! For shame indeed for making life a bit easier for me, not only did this discredit Aura, it also helped boost my own credibility as being the center point of the defender cause! And so with a few sunflower seeds of charisma here, a good number of seeds of misinformation there, and another round of righteousness there...

VOILA! The hamster managed to entirely take the leadership role from Aura themselves!



Everything ran slowly again for the next couple of days, with me not knowing if I even still needed to go with my stealth operation or if the Sparkalia operation was doing good on its own. I got so lonely that I even asked Durm and Brony to join me in the region, becoming members of the few people who knew the stealth op was a thing. Unfortunately-defenders did indeed manage to liberate Magna Aurea...



Oh well I guess the raiders were indeed too overconfident that they probably had it in the books unlike defenders of course, right? :3

This was a clear victory for defenders everywhere. Dont let other people tell you otherwise. As New Makasta said it well, "...this was a flawless defender victory.". PERIOD. still dont believe it?



To add more credibility. Magna Aurea managed to garner a special award at this year's 2023 Defender Awards as "Operation of the Year". Surely you have to believe me now.



But my work was not done yet! I needed help to safeguard the region once and for all from enemy threats! AS Queb put it:


The first step to a full transition came with the Repeal thingy that Queb was nice enough to let me lend a hand in! I appreciate being able to help wherever needed! Unfortunately, the repeal came and went but I still had a long way to go (especially in terms of influence)...so the waiting game had to happen.

While I sat patiently for the chance to press the transition button, I busied myself with the budding community that was growing after the wake of the occupation. It was a peaceful and vibrant time indeed. I came to realize that the raid did not negatively impact the region, rather it helped boost activity a lot! Makes you wonder if raids actually are a good thing. Food for thought I guess.

As the weeks dragged on, the transition to governor seemed like a far-fetched dream. Luckily with the help of the defenders ejecting nations on my behalf and my own 'accidental' ejections, we finally managed to start the transition!

Fast forward a seemingly quiet 14 days and here we are :3

Thank you everyone! This stealth operation wouldnt have been possible without the help of a lot of people guiding me and teaching me how to even be better! Also big props to those who helped me make it to the top spot. Not to mention to the defenders who preferred me over the real founder. I did not expect to win that argument. I also have to apologize for not doing this soon, it did take a lot of influence to do and I simply followed what the defenders told me to do.
