As of this day,October 18,2014. I Bendicion will now retire from raiding in TBR and others as well as NS itself.May Raideeon guide me though my NS life,and may my departing encourage others to follow my small steps as a raider for the greatest region.

I don't see why you need to be so snarky. For instance, when the Black Riders hit my region, it took all of 30 seconds to clean their vandalism up. Do you guys ever invade and try to occupy and take over a region? Or is it just the vandalism hit-and-run?

I mean, shit, I've been on NS for over 10 years now. I've seen some cruel-looking gameplay stuff happen. I was just a little curious as to what TBRs' approach was.

Sorry, I'm so used to people attempting to butcher TBR that snarky has become my default mode. Geniunely curious people like yourself are very rare, sadly.

TBR does both "vandalism hit-and-run" a.k.a. tag raiding, and long-term occupations that occasionally end in complete region destruction. Recent examples of the latter include 'SPACE', 'Anarchy', 'The Silver Isles', and 'Ixnay'. We notably occupied two of those regions at the same time while still having enough people to tag raid regularly.

The tag raiding is training, region publicity, and raider entertainment combined into one outlet. Since occupations take a long time to plan, and tag raiding is an activity that can be executed regularly, naturally TBR ends up doing more of the latter. That's why it may seem like that's all we do.

If we aren't occupying something already, then we're planning to occupy something. Some founderless region out there is already in the crosshairs, I'm sure. It's just a matter of time.

The Basic problem within the Raiderdom is that: There are so many good, excellent, genuine individuals and future leaders, but so few real soldiers who are dedicated to The Task, common for all of us.

That is why we fail... if we ever fail.

The reason why raiders fail is that they fail to discern those who are their brothers. You can claim like you are some work horse and all the other horses around you are slacking, but that is a terrible way to look at your friends and allies. Every nation that doesn't consider raiding atrocious, is a victory for raiders. Every region that is willing to deal with an ally who raids, is a victory for raiders. Every nation who is willing to update, is a victory for raiders.

All of those are equally important. You only see the front lines of the update, and forget that there are front lines for raiders everywhere. Crashers are the outcasts. Crashing used to be seen as horrible and despicable. Yet now it's seen as a normal thing for a region to pursue...that's a miracle. A God damned miracle. But it's through the hard work of soldiers like Blue Wolf in TNP, Of Crazed in TSP, Venico in Osiris...these raiders who took a stand for raiding and fought the same war you fight, but on a different front.

Don't forget your brothers, Cora. Don't lose sight of all the hard work people put in around you and think that your updates are the only thing that matters.
