How's that? it just says that the nation needs to follow the other laws as well... I don't know a resolution, that if repealed, would make this unworkable.

A proposal must be able to stand alone even if all other resolutions are repealed. It cannot say "follow all other WA laws regarding human rights, social justice, and education" because if all of those resolutions were repealed, then this proposal wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Blogposal.
Complete lack of understanding of how proposals, science, and fuel work. I think they're trying to say we should all use hydrogen fuel cells? But those can't be used in a gasoline engine as far as I know. Or maybe they're trying to say they want to create a fuel that matches those characteristics by saying "science dude, do this"

GENERAL ASSEMBLY PROPOSAL

Euthanize the Mentally Feeble
A resolution to modify universal standards of healthcare.
Category: Health
Area of Effect: Healthcare
Proposed by: Social Community
Description: Understanding that this is a very controversial and touchy subject I will explain my stand point.
What is meant by “Mentally Feeble” is someone who is mentally incapable of caring for themselves (feeding themselves, cleaning themselves, wiping their own behinds), a person who is 24 but has the mental capacity of a 2 year old and will never get better. These are people who will never be able to manage in society, physically or mentally.
What is not meant is those who have:
- Asperger Syndrome
- ADD
- ADHD
- OCD
- Minor Autism
These people merely need some help but can function in the world.
In the Supreme Court case of Carter v. Canada a precedent was set that allowed those with fatal illnesses to be able to decide to be euthanized by medical professionals instead of suffering the anguish of their affliction.
Is it then not kinder to remove these unfortunate souls instead of letting them live a life of underdeveloped. Some will argue that they are happy so what does it matter? But ignorance is bliss. It would be easier on families, instead of having to change their life to support someone who is nearly mentally dead anyway. It would be easier on national economies instead of having to spend millions of dollars a year on group homes and special educational programs out side of the normal class rooms.
It is not a pleasant thought but we must think of humanity going forward and these people will never reproduce or if they do the offspring will be no better off.
Approvals: 0
