TBR isn't getting anything back, it's dead and buried. Furthermore, the passage of this resolution would not prevent *raiders* from getting TBR - we already have it. It's not like it's locked up by some third party and passing this resolution would allow us to raid it. It's not actively helping raiders from getting it back, only making a secure refound a bitch to pull off, and actually increasing the chance that someone who *does* want to build something there gets it back.

I've gotten a lot of messages from people saying that TBR doesn't deserve anything except to die, that they won't do anything to help TBR, etc - and that's why they're voting for. I don't think they understand that if this doesn't pass, it'll actually further that. I don't intend to bring anything to life in TBR besides a bit of history in written form. The best way to leave this region as an empty, dead husk is to let me do what I intend without interference, and with the support of the region's natives.

Well I suppose we'll have to see how it plays out. I don't expect they'll get it back in the near future, but a year, two, even three or more, who can say. Forever is a long time, you commented to playing for several years? And even if it somehow remains closed, in your control, it still offers them more dignity than the region's they've held for years with mockery.

A liberation would prevent any such refound, and would make nearly impossible to hold long term. A far more fitting fate in my book. One that I think would deter such foul behavior and promote a healthier form of raiding.

Ever since their fall I think raiding has been moving in a more positive direction. They served as warning, a corrupt model of what not to do. Making them into a monument makes them less of a warning and more something to aspire to.

Who'll get it back? The natives have settled in DEN (and approved my efforts) or left the game.

Liberations do not prevent refounds, they just make them harder to carry out and increase the odds of interception.

My histories are fairly fair. They would include the DOS'ing that caused the downfall and such. I can't say I'd phrase their operations the way all might, but there are elements of TBR that both sides agree were destructive, and no one can argue that bob and halc screwed it over.

My liberation attempt is going to come really late in the refound process, most likely. :P

I am glad to see this resolution is being struck down thus far by the Security Council body.

The Black Hawks have the long-standing native population's support, unlike the coalition of invaders lead by UGR. There's no reason to liberate the region.

I voted against this proposal, cause there is no need for liberation in this case.

You've got to be a complete idiot to think they deserve any sort of support.

You may think we are terrorist but according to the mods we do things our way and nothing is wrong with raiding

That doesn't negate the fact that it makes you a terrorist.

I'm not really sure where the word "terrorist" comes from in this. The actions of raiders are more comparable to that of an invading army.

The interesting thing about capture the flag is that if the other team doesn't know there is a game going on it is just stealing other peoples flags out of their yard. :p

Speaking on this incarnation:

4 years 11 days ago: Region founded by Black riders commander.

Now, if I have my TBR history correct, that was actually a refound. That said, the region is still several year younger than the org some of it's members split from - The Black Hawks, founded ten years ago.

NShistory's first entry for TBR is at the very end of 2009 (Thank you Texas). So five and a half years old.

*Amends previous statement*

So that would make you 8 years old now. :P
