I don't know what your problem is. First we're soviet and now were politically correct? Are you just throwing out buzzwords hoping one will stick and be considered an insult? Would you mind addressing my last statement regarding the fact that political precedent makes this resolution do nothing? It needs to be replaced so its intent can be enforced."

Before I address the Ambassador for Defwa, I'd like to address the chamber here. Now this ambassador has just insulted the majority of the people in this room; the Ambassador has effectively called us stupid and says we don't understand what we're voting for, and I find it both sad and alarming that the only thing that the Ambassador can try to argue with is the fact that a while back I mentioned the word "Soviet" which as we all know is a reference to an example of a totalitarian style economic system, the type which we are hopefully voting against. The Ambassador seem to think that we are all far right-wing fascists and are shedding hate on the Soviet policies. But as we the majority voters know is that we don't want liberal-lefty PC do-gooders sticking their noses into our independent economies. We are independent, fledged sovereign states and we are strong together in our decision to vote AGAINST this resolution and maintain the benefits of nationstate democracy. But now it's our turn to call them stupid; what they are failing to realise is something so plainly obvious, that again, the MAJORITY of member states on this council are AGAINST this resolution. The WA for freedom and nationstate democracy is standing tall! And Mr Ambassador for Defwa, I really must add that I found that your last statement made as much sense as this dreadful resolution. The voters have spoken and it really doesn't matter if they don't understand every detail of these two relevant resolutions; the voters know what they want and they have chosen just that.

OOC: Way to resort to name calling again and not actually address anything I said. Angela Landfree is a woman by the way. Are you role playing someone who ignores everything they hear to spout rhetoric? I'm not advocating a WA lead communist government. I'm trying to support effective legislation. A few posts ago I gave you specific examples on why this resolution has failed to stop the WA and why it must be replaced but you have ignored it. It is not constructive. Also it is a well documented fact that most voters do not read the entirety of the resolutions at vote. Please stop claiming a moral high ground on things its so blisteringly apparent you don't understand fully.

I will say again, a few posts back I gave specific examples as to how NEF has been defied and how that provides legal precedence that makes NEF ineffective. However if you continue to refuse to address any of my points so you can wave your nations banner and cheer, I'm afraid I and the other people on this forum are going to start ignoring you

I would very strongly advise the ambassador from Coroscent to check any further statements they plan on making, and to engage in a thorough rereading of the repeal in question - a rereading that is not alarmist and extends past the unfortunate title of the bill.

You may find that National Economic Freedoms, while having good intentions, has actually failed in its stated goal. The other delegates you seem so intent of insulting have actually made numerous statements expressing their intent to draft more effective legislation in the same vein as National Economic Freedoms. You're doing nothing to help your cause in this fight, at best, and seriously damaging your standing in this great hall at worst.

In the Name of the Eternal Kawaii, may the Cute One be praised

We are not persuaded that the arguments presented demonstrate a need to repeal this legislation. However, as the repeal is passing in Anime 4-2 at the moment, we expect we will be voting in favor.

The ineptitude demonstrated by the ambassador for Coroscent has persuaded my government to move to voting FOR this proposal.

Honestly Ambassador, I laugh at you, as do the voters for our free market economies and nationstate democracy. You ignoring me is like you flying the white flag; you realise now that your argument is invalid and that the majority has spoken. I look forward to my victory cigar when I get back to the Yakusan Foreign Ministry.

I'll just close with this: just because something is popular, does not mean it is right. And just because something is winning, does not mean it is unequivocally deserving of its victory (see Nazi Germany, for instance).
