The most godless, which would be Vermont. The fact that it has pretty trees is an added bonus.

Even if you could prove that any religion has got some theological questions right, this doesn't mean that people everywhere would choose to worship the gods of that religion or observe its laws. If you could prove to me, with irrefutable evidence, that the god of the Old Testament exists, I would s...

My nation is almost exclusively an attempt to put my beliefs and convictions into hypothetical practice. Albeit with a little pragmatic wiggle-room to get my Civil Rights/Economy/Political Freedoms ratings to a desirable level. That and the income tax rate is too damn high!

If Baiynistan were to exist in the same universe as the Russian Federation, which we can neither confirm nor deny, we would likely have a cold, though non-hostile relationship with the Putin regime. We would likely boycott them politically (without formal statement) and abstain from making official ...

The only way the rights of the unborn could matter is if they have a right that no born human has. The right to use another's body without permission. I'd say that once the age of viability has been reached, foetal right to life is longer exclusively an issue tied to dependency on another person's ...

You have some strange ideas about what abortion is. Let's take a look at that word. "Abortion". What is being aborted? The unborn? That doesn't make sense. They're not a process that is being ended. Pregnancy is, though. When we assert a woman's right to chose what we mean is that it is h...

Well its the largest minority choice, not a majority. Though I think this view point is fairly rational. Meh, semantics. :p But you're right. I'm not shocked given how many feminists exist within the forum. Mm. I think extremists on both sides of the argument have made it difficult to discuss abort...

Pre-quickening, I say abort away! Post-quickening & pre-viability, I say morally grey while we continue to gather more scientific knowledge on the nature of foetal brain/sensory activity (I would personally prefer to avoid an abortion at this stage). Exceptions for health. Post-viability, I argu...

I think the betrayal of the Cossacks still leaves a bitter after-taste in the collective British pallet. I would hope that we won't make the mistake of treating other asylum-seeking groups similarly ever again.

I'd like it to be where it is right now indefinitely only with the consent of the majority of Palestinians, though. I'm 'against' Zionism in that Israel should be a State for Jews and not a Jewish State. In this, I don't mean that Israel should offer citizenship exclusively to Jews, rather it should be a nation which provides the Jews' their right to self-determination.

We don't need 'em (less fear of judicial retribution for self-defence would be nice however).

I'd say it depends on the problem. Generally, if a former colony is suffering because of fallout related to its time as a colony or the nature of their move to independence, then their former rulers should take the responsibility of cleaning up their messes. I used to be somewhat against the idea of...

Occam's razor. What's more likely? The notion that every religion is true (or even just one of them)? Or the notion that none of them are? You have an incredible amount of work set out for you if you plan to prove irrefutably that supernatural entities exist, especially ones that make every human be...
