I wasn't aware that "the funny" was a requirement of issues. Most of my issues do tend to take on more serious, topical issues. Some of them, such as the one I submitted a while back with the inappropriate town name, are lighter and far less serious. I get my sense of humor more from the ...

Any chance in knowing what the first option does exactly?

We don't give out issue effects.

I'm going to make a general comment here, NoQ, and hopefully you'll take it on board. Something we - as a team - have noticed over the past few years is that your issues generally lack humour. I mean, you have serious topics sure, but they could have a funny swing on it. And you always go for the de...

Not sure on the number but, ""This is great news", your Foreign Secretary Hillary Smoochinger says with a smile. "We can finally end this drawn-out conflict in Brasilistan once and for all if we accept their surrender. This is the vast majority of the native armed forces, but th...

Even if not a banner, some sort of conclusion seemed necessary. Simply an additional sentence to our nation's description would've been enough. Perhaps reading something like, "the conflict with Brasilistan is over and peace/colonization/total annihilation was achieved!" Yeah, a banner is...

One curiosity: my notes claim that I at one point saw a "the nation has been detected preparing to launch nuclear missiles" result line at around the same time I was collecting the Brasilistan results, but none of the many nuke options in the chain actually seem to resolve to that. Also, ...

Some people are never happy  The choice itself only indicates they " may be convinced to law down their arms." Not that it's actually happening yet. In Issues, generally, if the option strongly suggests something may happen, it will happen. Usually. And the follow up update only read...

Not to throw a spanner in the works, but if one of the end results of this chain/tree is to relock the religion custom field, then it's not going to happen.

Don't want to end up like poor Sirocco. Everyone thinks he retired. In reality he just edited one of Max's issues. Let's just say there are some things worse than becoming DoS.

Theoretically, if it wasn't a Max issue, could the mods add to it, or any other non-Max issue?

We can add or take away from any issue if we need to. But traditionally we avoid editing/rewriting the Max issues.

We just had a contest. We're not looking for more editors. Also see above where I said more editors would be a problem, not helpful to a chain. Death by committee would occur. Nothing would get done and it slows down the process. So the more editors there are, the less gets done? To me, that seems ...

Coding isn't an issue. And more editors would actually hinder rather than help the process. It's a nice idea, and hopefully some time in the future we may be able to work something out, but in the immediate short term/future, I don't see it happening. Then what would speed up the process? Surely so...

Neither of those are simple. It took 3 years to do one chain with 19 issues for MT. So now that you have a bit of practice, you should be able to get it done in under 2 years right? :p I was on sabbatical for 6/8 months of that! You probably exhausted your route through the chain. Though I'd imagine 6 is one of the longer routes.
