Nexus Nufoods - Exciting New Product Launch

Postby Nexus Corp » Sun Jan 23, 2011 8:26 am

Nexus Corp Nufoods

Nexus Nufoods is pleased to announce the availability of a selection of our nation’s domestically popular Nutrimeat range to the international market. Nutrimeat is an affordable, tasty, healthy and ethical alternative of a consistent high standard that replicates the experience of animal-harvested meat products but without the negatives.

We hope you can spend a few minutes watching the following short presentation.

The clip opens to a Japanese-looking man in full chef regalia working a selection of steaks sizzling on a fiery grill in a busy modern stainless-steel kitchen. He is identified by caption as Joe Hideki, head chef of Chiba City’s five-star Manami Hotel. He talks about the reliability and consistency of the product, saying that he always knows what he is getting when he takes a piece of Nutrimeat out of the pack. “With no excess fat or gristle, it is always ready to cook and always top notch,” he says. He removes a thick rib steak and places it onto a cutting board before slicing it open to reveal a juicy rare steak in close up. “Perfection! How good is that!” he exclaims.

We then see steaks served to well dressed restaurant diners apparently participating in a taste test. Asked if they would believe some of the steaks weren't from an actual animal, they express surprise, adding glowing preference for the Nutrimeat, describing it as “juicy and super tender”.

The next scene shows a massive brightly lit white room full of long stainless steel vats and high-tech machinery. A pretty white-coated scientist explains that their plant has the largest cleanroom space in the world and that the sterile environment is maintained by a unique technological process. Over scenes of the mechanised vacuum packaging process, she explains that this means that the product goes out in a completely sterile state, free from contaminants, including antibiotic residues and toxins as found in traditional farming.

We now see Nufoods CEO Hanaye Kazuki smartly dressed in her corporate rig in the green countryside on an overcast day. “One of the early objections that we had to the product was that it wasn’t natural,” she says, adding, “But what do we really mean by ‘natural’? And is our idea of nature overly romanticised?” “Watch your step there” she says as she gingerly steps around a fresh cow pat. She goes on to describe the various bacteria, virus and parasites (with the commentary indispersed with disturbing graphic examples) that affect farm animals and can be transferred to humans, making mention of some major health scares of the past. With a cut shot back to gleaming sterility of the Nutrimeat plant she contrasts the purity of the product, while emphasising the fact that the tissue comes from real animals and remains no different from normal tissue when cultured.

Next we see Ms Kazuki bottle-feeding a hungry lamb. She looks to the camera and says “It’s a shame that innocent creatures like Sam here die every day for the table of people who give their lives no thought at all”. She then smiles and says reassuringly, “But the Nutrimeat process changes all that. By cloning a painlessly taken sample, we can feed millions while he and his little pals live.”

We then close to diners smiling and tucking into plates of various meats with the voice-over, “Nexus Nufood – You know it’s good for you”.

Initial international product offerings include:
Nutrilamb, Nutribeef, Nutripork, and Nutrichicken in a variety of forms including steaks and mince.
You can also look forward to a range of “on-the-bone” products and an extensive fish and seafood line.

Your enquires are welcome and feedback is important. I look forward to hearing from you,

Hanaye Kazuki

Dear sir or madam,

While we appreciate your interest and candour with regards to your intentions for our Nutrimeat product, we feel that we must decline a business partnership at this time on the grounds that it seems incongruent with our vision for the product.

Dear CEO Hanaye Kazuki:

We have filled out and attached an order form to purchase your products for Frenequestan markets.

Nutrilamb Steak _5,000_ kg Mince _1,000_ kg
Nutribeef Steak _15,000_ kg Mince _2,000_ kg
Nutripork Steak _10,000_ kg Mince _500_ kg

Dear Mr Defoe,

We are very pleased to receive your first order and the news of Ervin Giacomini's appointment. Here's to what we hope will be a long and prosperous partnership! Let's get your people over here as soon as possible. We have a gala launch in Chiba City on the 4th of next month and we would love to have you join us as a prelude to our meetings and training.

As you already have a "test-tube" meat industry, we wonder if there was public resistance to the concept and how acclimatisation may have progressed.

Dear Mr Williamson,

Thank you for your order for trial product. You are right that consumer acceptance is often an issue with a major innovation such as the Nutrimeat product. For this reason it is imperative that the marketing approach is handled just right and customised to fit the culture of your nation. With this in mind, we would like to arrange market strategy and training meetings for key personal within Lerosomquai Foodstuff Distributors Amalgamated. We will have a gala product launch on the 4th of February and we would love to see you and your people there. This could be a great lead in to the meetings and training. If this suits please send through a list of those attending - names and titles.

We at the Griffincrest Corporation are very much against animal cruelty, and as such we view Nexus Nufoods as an exciting new step in the food world. We would be extremely eager to sign a contract with your business to provide food on a daily basis to the mercenaries of the First Security Fleet. This will be a very hefty order, and we do hope that you will be able to fill it. If necessary, we are willing to pay for the construction of another facility to meet our needs. We would like to provide each of the security officers of that fleet (200,000 men) with the guarantee of one Nutrilamb steak per day, do you think this is an acceptable amount for you to provide?

We do, however, have one question. This is real meat, correct? We are not getting some kind of plant product packaged to look like meat right? As I understand, it is cloned animal tissue, but I just want to be 100% on this. If I am right, I would like to work on this contract immediately.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr Phoenixclaw,

Your concern about animal cruelty is admirable and very much makes the Griffincrest Corporation a good fit for our product. We would like to reassure you that what we are supplying is indeed cloned animal tissue and not any kind of plant substitute. The parent cells can be genetically modified or not, or indeed be any of your own selection. The best way to answer your initial quality questions I feel would be to airfreight a good sized sample that you may put to taste and lab tests.

This indeed would be a hefty order and a partnership that we would be honoured to establish with the Griffincrest Corporation. As far as ramping up production to meet your significant requirements, we would like to confirm that our scalable modular plant design allows us to do so. Our production manager has given a supply lead time of three months from sign of contract. We appreciate the offer to assist in establishing a dedicated plant but this should not be necessary if we can come to agreement on a suitable contract.

We do not feel the trial here is necessary, as we can take your word on the quality of the food. This is going to be fed to men who subsist primarily on black pudding and potatoes, so we have no doubt your product is of a much higher quality, and should go a long way in raising troop morale. We would just like to get the food to our men as quickly as possible. Also, we would like to be kept informed of any possible future products you develop, as we will be very interested in their purchase as well.

As for this contract, state your price, and we will deliver. Bear in mind, we would prefer to make our payments on either a monthly or yearly basis.

Mr Phoenixclaw,

We appreciate your confidence in our organisation and are sure your men will enjoy the product. We can ensure delivery of 200,000 Nutrilamb steaks per day for ¥6,000,000 per calendar month. You can be sure that we will keep you informed of new product offerings. We would also like to contact personnel responsible for your troops' diet and nutrition as the technology allows us to vary elements including fat content and so we can provide a customised meal to suit your specific requirements.

At Nexus we value hard work but we also know how to have a good time. We would very much like to see a delegation from the Griffincrest Corporation at our gala product launch on the 4th of February in Chiba City.

Kind regards,

Mr. Kazuki,

We find this a very fair deal, and would like shipments to begin as soon as possible. You can expect payment on the first of every month for as long as this contract remains in effect, and you can very much expect to see myself or another representative in attendance at your gala. Additionally, do not alter the meat in any way other than it would be sold in a normal supermarket. Just the basics for our men out there.

Thank you,
