A counter-invasion works the same way... you need to catch the raiders offline at just the right time...

there is a larger issue here, and that is our right to play the game the way its meant and designed. I dont know, nor really care about either party within this resolution, but I do stand for their rights to rule and play legally and according to the rules, it is their right to play how they wish. I dont want my rights taken away, or someone else telling me how to play, if I am playing within the rules.

It would've worked too, if the (now former) delegate wouldn't have come back all of a sudden. He actually resigned from the WA after losing his position as delegate. If I had to make a guess, I'd say he's planning to get one of his puppet regions admitted into the WA, then launch a counterattack with other members of the nazi forces.

Unlikely. Probably they'll just plan to attack another founderless region in the future. Or maybe not even that.
Republicans isn't that important to them anymore and it would be almost undefensible now.
Also, if the player behind Borrachia (a puppet, obviously) was planning a counterattack he wouldn't have left the region and resigned from WA, as he still had enough influence to hold on some days. He just gave up and is now crawling off to die somewhere.

Hopefully they won't do nothing and the remaining Nazis will soon be banjected
