How is sex and nudity looked upon in your nation?

In our nation, sex is widely seen as a form of art or an act of pleasure, like getting a massage or of the sort. Sexual conduct is illegal on the public "streets" per se, but is legal with the land owner's consent in privately owned buildings and parks. Nudity in public is legal, but most citizens are clad in clothing for most of the day.

Sex in our nation is looked on as something shared between a man and a woman who are in love. It is widely accepted also that sex should be between one man and one woman (who are preferably married although no one really gives second thought). Public sex is illegal if someone of athourity (Police Officer, Public Official, etc.) is to see you. Nudity is also highly accepted in Hahklallah, where there are multiple amounts of nudist colonies (in the mountains) and nudist beaches. Nudity is not banned in public, but it is most common to wear clothing.

While it is seen as a barbaric thing that should be kept private and not discussed nor refereed to in public at all so does some of the more barbaric tribes and peoples in the federation have no problem with such improper activities and way of looking.

Nudity is looked at as unadvisable in Vortiaganica, seeing as it gets cold, with an average of 20. Certainly bearable for people wearing clothing, but certain people with weaker resolves may find themselves...er...'disadvantaged' in certain respects, due to the extremities, if you follow.

Sex is often undertaken only after marriage, because of the culture of Vortiaganica being somewhat sexist and education-based, as well as the serious practical issues with pregnancy before marriage in Vortiaganica, due to high poverty and tax rates and a massive police force.

Social welfare is only stretched out to government employees. Pregnant, unmarried women are unlikely to receive such welfare unless they are exceptionally gifted, in which case they tend to set their sights higher than the sexist, average unmarried men who are likely to go to the same school, and instead will often take 'temporary exchange trips' to 'mingle' with schools boasting certain 'richer demographics' who would very likely enjoy the company of an intelligent woman who is unaffected by nationalist sexism.

That and most people wear uniforms when working or schooling anyway.

While there are no laws against public nudity, generally nudity only takes place in private. During the summer, both women and men often appear topless in public especially at parks and beaches. Most people who tan do so nude.

Nothing in that way here is illegal, but there are two factors going against that kind of thing. First, while we are against banning any activities between consenting competent adults, the culture is still pretty conservative and people may shout at you or even throw things at you if you are naked or screwing in public. Second of all, our whole planet just about is all Taiga and ice (think the climate of Alaska, Canada or Russia). It's just too cold.

How is sex and nudity looked upon in your nation?

Sex is seen as more than just pleasure or art, although it is both of those as well.

For instance, sex is a way of achieving emotional intimacy with others. It's something bond-forming.

Sex can also be something spiritual. It is a way of celebrating life.

Of course, plenty of Meridians have sex for purely hedonistic reasons, but sex is not seen as limited to this.

As for nudity, this is commonly practiced in public in certain culturally accepted contexts, especially involving water and sports. (E.g., swimming, bathing, etc.)

Nudity is also strongly associated with art.

Nudity is not common in public, but we are not so barbaric as to have "public decency" laws.

Sex is seen as something entirely natural, and an innate progression that starts at childhood and goes onward to adulthood in many different ways for different people. It is seen as a beautiful process, and attempts to "correct" or "fix" a person for their individuality in this process are scorned for their ignorance.

We do not promote abstinence to marriage or a "single partner", rather we are structured around giving everyone a comprehensive knowledge of the processes of sex, contraceptives and thereby giving a great individual choice in the matter.
