The region of Wolne Regionie was torn apart by war today, as nations saw who their real friends and enemies were. Wolny Kraj, a major force in the region, converted its government to a communist one around 20 years ago. Since then, many others in the region have adopted communism, (Medvjedzemljiste and Czerwony Stan) but there have always been dissenters. Cesky Stat is an evil dictatorship that seems bent on torturing its citizens. It has given communism a bad name in the region, because it's dictatorship operates under the guise of being communist. There haven't been many conflicts in a long time, and the infamously chilly relations between Medvjedzemljiste and Wolny Kraj have thawed, due to the Communist Revolution. However, unknown to Wolny Kraj authorities, thousands of dissenters have been escaping across the northern border of Wolny Kraj for more than 50 years to form their own nation, Polski Kraj, which has been influenced by Cesky Stat and now has a corrupt dictatorship. They declared war on Wolny Kraj yesterday, prompting Cesky Stat to pledge help to Polski Kraj, and Czerwony Stan jumped in to help Wolny Kraj. Medvjedzemljiste has joined the communist side.

[Wolny Kraj]

A Cesky naval fleet heading to Polski Kraj (who has no navy) was blown out of the water by artillery stationed on the South Strait Islands, essentially the first battle of the war. The Czechs sent back more ships to deal with the artillery, but the Czerwony Stat air force bombed them from above during the heaviest of artillery fire, making clear to the Czechs that the South Strait is a safe zone.

The Nation of Serpensa is entering the side of the Totalitarians. N has sent General Power, with 5,000 Commandos, 10,000 light infantry troops and 2,000 MIK's (Mechanised Intelligent Killers). The forces will arrive in 2 hours to join the Totalitarian forces.

The second battle of the war was the first land battle. It was fought on the border of Dabrowkraj region and Polski Kraj. As the Polski soldiers charged across the river, The Wolny machine guns set up on the high banks picked off most of the attackers. The banks of the river on the Dabrowkraj side are sheer cliffs, and the base was set up directly on the edge. The only place to hide was right against the cliff. Eventually, enough Polski Kraj soldiers had reached the cliff, but with no way up, they tried to send their best sapping team through the hard rock surface. The rock was too hard to break through manually, so the soldiers retreated back across the river, calling in one of their only tank divisions. The Wolny Kraj air force came in to bomb the tanks, taking out four of the six tanks, and the Polskis retreated, searching for another way in.

The Serpensan forces came to support the Polski troops. "Who's in charge here?" Power asked a random trooper. He turned the the MIK's. "Secure the perimeter. Treat any injuries you can" The MIKs marched off. He turned back to the trooper. "Well?"

The Cesky Naval forces sent two destroyers toward the Arany Achipelago in Lake Cesky. They fired on the small land force base there and the land forces from the island got into small boats to get ashore. The Ceskies charged the island, and the first half of the battle was over. On mainland, the Wolny Kraj land and air forces opened fire across the river on the large island fortress. The Ceskies, not wanting to lose any land, withdrew from the island to help defend the land base, and the air force bombed the destroyers, blowing up one of the two. The other one retreated back to the naval base farther north. The battle between the land fortresses raged on with no clear winner, and both island fortresses were completely destroyed. It was the bloodiest battle yet of the war.

"I am, soldier." An old man stepped forward, with seemingly more bars and pins on his chest than stars in the sky. "My name is Stanyslaw Nowymiastowski. I'm the general of this army. We really can use your help. It's a hard fight out there. The last stalemate gave me hope, though. We might be able to win one of these next battles. He takes out a map of the region. Where do you suppose we attack next?"

The Medvjeds sent a large naval fleet toward the west coast of Cesky Stat. They blockaded the port city of Prakov and waited. The Wolny Kraj First Division came through the woods into the city undetected. They are the most skilled units in the entire Wolny Krajan Land Forces. They bypassed the army base by going through the roughest terrain. An important government figure lives in the top apartment downtown. The Pierwszej Ligi (First Division) tread silently to the base of the skyscraper. "He's up there." The leader, Andzej Krakowski pointed to the top floor. Black Squad, climb the building. Red squad, come with me. The Black squad shot grappling hooks onto the roof and climbed the building face. The Red Squad burst through the doors of the skyscraper and shot the concierge as he tried to call the police. They ran up the staircase, heading to the top floor. The black squad reached the roof and dropped in through a duct. They dropped out of the duct in a supply closet where the main line for the furnace ran. They waited. The red squad reached the top floor and kicked in the doors to the apartment. The government figure tried to run, but they tackled him and took him hostage. They took him out of the building and down through the doors. Andzej Krakowski radioed the black squad leader Jan Wolnowski and told him to pull the fuse. The fuse came out with a click and the black squad ran for the windows and jumped out, just as the fuse blew, lighting the gas heat going through the pipes and the building exploded. They pulled their parachutes and landed silently. The hostage was thrown into a car and it sped off for the border. They headed back to base.

The car reached the border. The street lights buzzed and flickered on the car as it slowed to a halt by the border patrol booth. The guard came out, a fat old man who could barely walk. He came over to check the car, and the driver rolled down the window. He silently put a silenced desert eagle out the window and shot the man before speeding off. The hostage was secure.

While the Naval attack was going on, a large squadron of drones attacked the line. They ran towards the enemy line, ignoring bullet fire and artillery. Several fell, but the majority of their armor held up. They punched through the line, and a communication was sent to the Commandos. "Go" The Commandos moved in, behind a small group of light infantry men. The men, distracted by the drones, attacked the line, suffering minimal casualities, and taking the line. The Polski Kraj and Cesky forces now had a way into the mainland.

OOC: What were the casualties? (as in numbers) *unless you're not finished with your invasion, because then don't total them yet.*

OOC: My casualities are 4 drones, 10 light infantry men, and no other casualities. The total attacking force was 50 drones, 200 light infantry men, and 100 commandos. I'll let you call the Red casualities, but I'd estimate about 50-70 (in my mind). But the invasion isn't over. However, we'll need tanks to keep moving, and reinforcements.

The Cesky Stat "president" came on the air tonight on Cesky Stat's nationalized news station telling his citizens that he condemns Wolny Kraj for their actions, which he denounces as terrorism, and rallied his nation to join him in "killing those communist bastards once and for all" He then proceeded to provide fake news accounts of other "terrorist" actions that never happened and called the Wolny Krajans animals and abominations. Propaganda was dropped by planes all across the nation, as well as in Polski Kraj.

OOC: Yeah that's fine, but they have to be fairly primitive versions, as robot warfare is still in its early stages. They just have to be fairly similar to real soldiers, and so far that seems the case. I would only object if you said something like 40,000 kills and 1 casualty or something like that, but that doesn't seem to be a problem.

The fact that an entire geopolitical region has gone to the evils of Communism is shameful. The government of Wolny Kraj touts its enemies as "totalitarians"- but aren't all Communist swine!? Both sides are evil, for both sides are Communist, merely differing on schools of thought within said barbaric ideology.

But alas, now that they have turned their guns against each other, they will kill each other in great numbers, with more ease than we could ourselves. It'll only make the future more favorable as far as the Enlightenment is concerned, yes, indeed.

A: Debatable. ICly, however, the GWO believes Communism is the most horrific thing ever, and is backed by over 100 million people from China, the DPRK, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Soviet Union in this belief, not to forget, of course, the Augarians, Cazelians, and other player-created nations. Needless to say, it views Communism the same way the Pope views the Antichrist.

B: Politics and warfare capabilities are not necessarily related. By means of sheer attrition, it took many nations to take down three, and they suffered far more casualties.

C: And? My nation's population is more than all six of yours combined, not that sheer numbers win wars, of course. On top of that, my nation hasn't -officially- declared war. Yet.
