Can The Media take down McDonalds??

I was thinking, if the media broadcasted false info about McDonalds, they could actually, make it taboo to go there, and therefore taking down "The Mother of all Fast-Food Joints". So whats you opinion? Should they try?

Because McDonald's is bigger and wealthier than any media corporation is and if all else failed they'd have the money to make their own media company. Aside from that the media would be stupid to turn against one of the WORLD'S foremost customers when it comes to TV and Radio advertising.

As a member of the media (radio DJ) I also have first hand experience with how well McDonald's treats advertisers; there is absolutely no reason to turn on them especially using false pretenses.

1) The paparazzi uses yellow journalism. The information about the celebrities is just exaggerated, although true. What you're asking is for the paparazzi to blatantly lie.
2) No sane, respectable person actually believes everything the paparazzi says.
