Charter Convention

The audience looked in awe at the proposed city plans for an international city of the GA. "Globe City," said Emperor Palatine. "This is my vision. A city where citizens of member nations of the GA can come and go freely or live. Of course, we'd house the GA Headquarters here as well. Questions?"

OOC: Comaack, you are not the supreme dictator of this alliance IC, and you certainly don't have any authority over us OOC. We will have an IC meeting when the members at large come to a consensus on the subject. That being said, I would not be opposed to such a meeting.

What if we built a totally new city that people from all member nations could live in?

Thats the presidential palace of the FSSU located in the capital city of Belgrade, it is only the palace itself, not the area outside it.

Anyways... Look guys. Let's play nicely. And also, I don't think right now is a good IC time. We can get things done quicker with a OOC thread. Seeing as to how this one is a little OOC'd. LOL

President Spaulding has asked Vice-President Nate Davenport to attend on behalf of the United States of Kinstantia. He accepted her request, and awaits further information on when this event will take place.
It's as if someone thought, "What if we took Baywatch, mixed it with Star Trek, and then blended in a frat party?" That's Kinstantia, in a nutshell.

OOC: Indeed. I suggest we save the IC thread for a bit later.

EDIT: However just about everyone's showing up already, so I guess it's too late to stop it.

Let's start out he convention by stating our purpose. We must ask ourselves. Why are we here? What are we doing this for? Are we upholding human rights? Are we working to defend member nations from attack?

Admiral Hawk stepped out of the V-22 Osprey (modefied) along with 5 members of the Elite Woad Raiders. The Troopers we're in full ceremonial getup which was, admitedly, essentially the same as their Battle Rattle. The Osprey took off vertically joining up with its four fighter escort then turned back out to sea where the ASD"ian "Protectorates Own" was Idling in international waters. Hawk strolled towards the building with one member of the team standing next to him and the other four fanned out taiking up a box formation around the two of them.

"Sir," Said Commandant Leroy Helmsmith. "We're a little late aren't we?"

"Just a little," Laughed Admiral Hawk. "Relax prince, we'll be there soon enough can't help by rushing at this point."

"Aye sir." Replied the Soon to be representative to the Alliance.

The two along with their "guard" arrived at the building and slipped surrupticiously into the back of the building.

Princess Miki, aged 27

Relative to most ambassadors, Princess Miki did not have a large entourage, just one paranoid bodyguard and one overworked aide who refused to let her hire on some extra help. Something about not having extra tax dollars drained away from the people for her sake. Miki couldn't help but think that $50,000 a year spread out amongst hundreds of millions of people couldn't possibly hurt much, but so long as her aide Tsai Mei retained her sanity, Miki wasn't going to force any extra help on her.

"Mei," Miki said to her aide, who was furiously tapping away at her blackberry, "Send a message to my father when you get the chance. Let him know I've arrived safely."

"You're not safe here," Ling Chan said, "Out here in the open you're vulnerable to snipers, improvised munitions, and any yahoo who manages to slip past local security."

Since everyone's going to be trying so hard to assassinate a princess from a nearly backwater wartorn nation, Miki thought to herself, but said nothing, just walked towards the palace.

"Thank-you sir for your kind greeting and consideration of our safety." Said Admiral Hawk. As he and his companion walked up to the Kaiser and the princess. The four members of the entorage we're in the background watching the Shadows as was the want of the Woad Raiders when they we're protecting very very important people.

"My name's Admiral Hawk im the commander in cheif of the Navy of the Allied States of Dawoad" He returned the salute in crisp millitary style but with a slight grin on his face.

"Please let me introduce my friend to you both." He said adressing both the kaiser and the princess."this is Prince Leroy. he is third in line to the throne of the ASD and also holds the rank of commander in the Woad Raiders, our elite Special Operations unit. Trust me he earned it. Actually he'll be our representative here." Hawk Grinned as Leroy interjected

"Actually I'm alot more proud of the Commander Rank than the whole prince thing. The ASD is a monarchy only in name. The king and Queen hold absolutely no power and any hope I had of the Raider's trainers taking it easy on me was dispelled a LONG time ago." he laughed slightly. "So whats the story with you?"

Warmaster Redan Matt arrived in his Medivac Drop ship with his guard of two Marines in Dress Uniform and a Medic in case of emergency.
" Please Sir Get Inside" the Medic said.
One of the Marines replied "Shut Up,I can't wait to get out of this outfit"
They walked into the building.

Yes, he is recovering but his family is known to have fast healers. His son was also hit by a bullet in the stomach but healed completely by now. It apparently got caught in a layer of Fat and Skin so it barely scratched him.

Emperor Josef I stepped out of his black Porsche. His driver Karl Saluted. Followed by Admiral Raben and Priminister Valkern they walked up the steps of the meeting building. Josef I greeted the Kaiser. "Good morning, or Guten Morgen as we say in Hessingen". Prince Benito walked up to him nervously and shook his hand. Josef said politely "Good Morning, kaiser in waiting". The prince smiled. "Come my friend let me show you to the meeting hall, come on quickly". Josef, Raben and Valkern followed smartly.

[OOC: That is physically impossible. Even if the bullet it fat and skin, the boy would still be in tremendous pain. Coupled with the fact he is still a young boy he will need to be in the hospital. As for fast medical helps, that doesn't exist in real life, getting hit with a bullet doesn't get magically healed. And don't say, "Well it happens in war" because it doesn't. When you watch a war movie, the only reason they heal the downed soldiers is so they don't die on the spot and can ship them back to a main medical facility and most often times, back home.]

President Tayyib Al-Yasir ibn Idris Al-Swakhini was in his black limousine being driven to the convention. He had only one guard in his car but there was a jeep following that had 4 guards in it. Both cars stopped in front of the meeting building. The guards embarked from their jeep and encircled the limousine so that each man had one corner to guard. The one guard in the limousine stepped out of the car on the right side and quickly hurried to the other side to open up the car door for the president. The president stepped out and looked around.

"A beautiful building." He said and took a step forward.

{OOC: Well none of this is solving our Charter issues. I think that we could be much more effective without IC. When we open the GA is when we can RP and debate resolutions and get to know one another. Also, what do y'all think about building a new city for the GA Headquarters that is neutral territory. It will technically be owned by the GA itself. I suppose that would mean the GA would own a city-state. But it's a great idea I believe. We should all pour in money to the project if we agree on it. But, who would run it? Should we appoint a city council and a mayor? Or should we control it directly?}
