Tarrington, Britannia
The Crowds of the thousands lined the streets of the historic city. Confetti reigned down on to the streets below, as electronic billboards showed the results of the General Election. James Averton leader of the Britannian Nationalist Union Party won with a 78% victory over the Britannian people's labour party. The People rejoiced, the sun beamed down onto the capital city. The skies were cloudless and the wind was cool.
Across the nation, celebrations erupted as a new era of power and glory would rise amongst the people.
The Leader was fresh, head strong and a battle-axe. At 38 years old he is the youngest Leader in Britannian history. He was the hero the nation needed, the military was in taters, crime was rampent and the economy needed expanding. The lesser states within the Federal Republic saw him as man who would respect them and thier needs. And he was.
In the Halls of Parliament, as the new Prime Minister walked up to the podium in the main reception hall, hundreds of journalists and NUP MPs and the future Cabinet stood below him, beaming at him, thier faces filled with joy and pride.
With a nod from a cameraman, Mr.Averton smiled and cleared his throat.
"People of the Britannian Republic, my first words to you now are, thank you, thank you very much for given me this chance to serve you and our great nation. We are a strong people, we always have been. We now stand united against the strifes of the world and the troubles it presents us. But i say to you Britannians, we shall stand steadfast and united. We shall strive for prosperity. Yes the road shall be long and rough and we will have to make some sacrifices but all is for the greater good.
We have a chance to succeed at the joys of the world, if we go through our journey togeather as a people. And we will, we will go forward as a united people and we shall remove all obsitcles in our way. May god be gracious to us. Thank you i shall speak to you all soon again.
As his face left the screens the cheers of the thousands could be heard across the city, in the pubs men and women laughed and cheered as the last glimpse of thier hero faded into the BNUP logo.
Later that night thousands of fireworks light up the city as the PM made his way towards Colterium Hall, the home to the Federal Prime Minister.
As he walked into this new home, he was greeted by the guards and servants and of course his office workers.
"Good Evening all of you, before i go to have my much needed sleep, i would like to say i look forward to working with all of you and i cannont wait to see you all in action. And good luck to us all" James Smiled to his employees and put his arm around his wife and they both accended up the stairs. "Now Prime Minister, we are currently re-decorating your private flat to your requirements, so you will stay in the Churchton room until its finished" The Head butler smiled to him. And the PM nodded in response.

As the First Field Marshall of the Army, the first Air Marshall and the High Admiral sat watching the speech again, they smiled to each other, Averton was a man who understood the military, they supported him well and couldn't wait for the future.
"You think we will get what he says?" Air Marshall Watkins asked the other two. The Admiral dabbing his cigarette out in the glass ash-tray beside him. "Depends, if he does what we think he will, then yes he will. He is a iron man and he do us proud" High Admiral Harold Smith replied smiling. "All to be seen David" Field Marshall Robert Morrison smiled and stood up, straightening his Khaki coloured uniform.
A new age was about to begin for Britannia.
