He supports the establishment... which in our nation is Democratic Socialist, on it's way to being Socialist, his support is for this progress.

He offered a place at the prestigous Reach University, half of which is paid for by a music scholarship. One night he gets drunk and is photographed in a rather compromising position by the Sciox Iintelligence Service. The SIS promise never to leak the photos into the public eye in return for information he learned from his father. After he gives SIS the information he is trapped, he will be both ruined publicly and branded as a traitor should he ever choose to disobey his new overlords. After he completes his studies he is sent home with orders to begin moving into a career in politics and to place listening devices in his father's office.

I hope he lives up to his classmate's expectations.

After arriving in the bureaucracy, he finds himself almost overwhelmed by the profound amount of paperwork and assorted data required to leave Skywatch.

With his identification papers in hand, he finds himself drawn to Kessingale University, where he is allowed to use the library, where he finds every scrap of information he could possibly ever want to know for any reason at all for his studies.

His skepticisim leads to a bit of trouble when he comes face to faces with a three headed mage troll. Spending three days with his entire body switched inside out to where all the organs are on the outside, and everything normally outside is inside removes any magic related skepticisim still lingering in his mind.

His high-school vote comes true, when by sheer chance, Bureaucratic law makes Francis uncontested ruler of the entire Bureaucracy for a week, meaning not only does he rule one world, but several worlds, in several dimensions, as well as assorted starbases. Profits in the bureaucracy rise twenty-five percent during his weeklong reign.

About half-way through his year, he meets a an Elf by the name of Conrad, and the pair have a wonderful relationship for the rest of his stay.

At the end of his stay, Francis's athiesm gets put to its ultimate test when he meets Kajeenith, one of the two gods of The Bureaucracy, due solely to Kajeenith's almost fiendish delight in meeting Athiests and attempting to break them of Athiesm.


Afterwards Francis goes home, accompanied by Conrad, with a recording contract worth millions of Darnoks to make music for The Bureaucracy.

The dwarves of Der Teutoniker do not look terribly kindly on humans. Almost their entire human population consist of farmers on the plains near the Dwarven mountain halls.

Additionally, the dwarves would not at all appreciate the political ambition of this mere human. If he keeps his nose out of the political system, it's possible he could do just fine.

He would be welcomed at the border like any other foreigner; with a stamp in his passport, followed by smile from the border patrol officer who utters the words: "Welcome to Suits, enjoy your stay". He'd be then ushered to the changing rooms, while being offered a choice to take off all of his clothes. 99.23% of Suits' population is nudist. Your young friend would stand out in the crowd if he wore cloths.

One of three things happens.

First; Someone finds out about his presidency of the Skeptic Society, he is branded and tagged. He is then closely watched for the rest of his life, never allowed an actual job per se,....

Second attempt; By some impossible miracle he worms his way into every day life, and draws huge suspicion. Upon working his way up into any government position, the local loyalist forces would swiftly and silently intercept him at some point. Then he would be hung out side what ever office he was supposed to work in as an example to others.

Third; after being nice and friendly and totally not suspicious, the locals warm up to him. After a while becomes a regular, and is often included in local events. This can often be seen where ever he goes. Eventually, he is accepted as a productive member of society and welcomed to every day life. By the time his last month roles around, he would be offered several prestigious positions, even allowed into government offices with supervision. On his last day, everyone would be sad to see him go, and they send him off with a bang, lots of presents, and a new family that would welcome his return.

He would be thought odd for his political views, but his sexual orientation and stance on theism would be perfectly fine. He would have no troubles.

Francis Swift would find himself integrating easily into Knootian society, and he would be able to enjoy the gay night life and many sporting activities. There would be boys a-plenty, and he would probably end up with quite a few 'boyfriends' and one night stands. Money makes life easy for him, and he can afford to rent a small but well-decorated apartment in the city centre.

His internship at a Knootian education agency would progress smoothly, with his cosmopolitan colleagues generally helpful in making sure that he finishes his PhD paper (mostly) on time and with a high passing mark. Unfortunately, because his Democratic Socialist ideals shine through in them, his recommendations for improving the egalitarianism in the Knootian education system are mostly ignored.

He's going to perform badly unless he gets a job here unless the government gets permission to fund him that money, which will be disliked by the masses.

Since he plays tennis and seems to like politics a lot, dressing in formal clothing, and being a perfect citizen, people would probably try to avoid him....
