NaNoWriMo 2010

Postby Tandorria » Sat Sep 25, 2010 6:36 pm

Hi everyone! I decided to create this NationState account to help me with NaNoWriMo this year. I write Fantasy fiction and found that this! OMG it's helped with my planning so much. I was wondering if anyone else created their NationState for this or a similar purpose.

Much Thanks,
M G Kalar

I took part in NaNoWriMo 2008 (and I completed it!! :D ). I don't think I'm trying it this year though.

I'm considering doing it this year, since I'll probably have a lot of time on my hands. It'll have nothing to do with Nationstates though!

I probably end up doing this again. Hotel California, "after the NaNoWriMo is before the NaNoWriMo" and all that.

I might try my luck this year...

But sickness, and life in general, mean that I haven't researched anything... Or thought of a plot, for that matter...

Only do it if you are serious about it. I would suggest checking out the site and seeing what it's all about before you decide whether or not to do it. It's a lot of fun, but you might loose that last fragment of sanity you've managed to keep hold of until now. (this is a general statement, and by no means a comment on your sanity or lack thereof. it happened to me, so I was using it as an example.)

Figured it would be stupid to make a new thread since there is already one but yeah anyone doing NaNoWriMo this year?

Love this thing, it'll be my 6th year and hopefully by 3rd victory.

*wishes...had...time!*
The goldfish crackers will win. Do you know why they smile? Because when they get inside you they start eating you from the inside out.

Grandtaria: "I would rather live my life each day thinking there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than to live my thinking that there isn't and die to find out there is."
Conservative Morality: "When in Rome, do as the Romans. When out of Rome, do as the Romans anyway, it's not like anyone is ballsy enough to piss off Rome."

Finally fixed: The thread may be gone, but I'm still a "To Hell with This'er!," damnit! :D

I would find it awesome to participate in this too, but just like you, I too have problems that prevent me from actually making the slightest chance, mostly because I procrastinate...badly.
My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.
