Why You Left the WA

Postby New Adonia » Fri Sep 10, 2010 10:01 pm

The topic is relatively straight forward, if you have, and why you did.

Personally, it's just a bunch of bleeding heart liberals on one side, and a 'good job y, bad job x' on the other.

We don't even have a mock representation of the UN, we have the W.H.O. and the Thumbs Up or Down board.

It was a bit depressing when they added the security council only for me to realise that is was just a way to lump-sum all the Condemn and Commend issues being pushed through it normally. :palm:

I was kicked out after multiing. But now I'm glad I was, because it's so much fun being a terrorist dictatorship.

But it deals with game issues. Not real world issues. But it's also not in character, so it doesn't go in a RP forum. That leaves Gameplay and F7.

I never joined it. My nation is sovereign.
When anybody preaches disunity, tries to pit one of us against each other through class warfare, race hatred, or religious intolerance, you know that person seeks to rob us of our freedom and destroy our very lives.

Never left it. Left the NSUN a couple of times for IC reasons, but always rejoined. Since I reacivated properly last year, have always been a member of the WA.

Never joined it. It's just filled with too much libertarians and micro-managers who just want to regulate the freedom of my own country
because of their wild and creative imaginations.

The WA is for appeasers and those who seek a more ''controlled'' NS gameplay.

I've been here for three years, and I still don't really know what the hell the WA is.

Bunch of crazy anti-socialism loons who hate freedom and autocracy. And their restrictions on chemical and biological weaponry! You'd think they were trying to turn us all into some kind of World Nations Order or something.....

I left a few years ago (I think it was still UN back then) and only rejoined a few days ago. The reason I left was the authoritarian tendencies of the proposals and votes.

The UN WA votes kept bringing my nation to the right/authoritarian.

I deliclined joining them because of their ability to over-ride, and their willingness to do so, National Soverignity

There are a few resolutions that make it impossible for me to RP my nation the way I choose to.
However I'm currently a member for political and RP reasons

Because it was so dreadfully, painfully dull that after five minutes of reading its pages holidaying in Belgium suddenly looked exciting by comparison?

They are unable to properly pass any SC Proposals. Somebody in clear violation of GA law? Ah, that's fine, we're like the UN, corrupt and incompetent.

Its just a big weapon in the Raiders vs defenders war, and a stupid list of totaly ignored rules.
