Metal: A Headbanger's Journey

A documentary about heavy metal and it's subgenres. I bought it back in 2011 but watched it for the first time just now.

A classic I recommend to everyone interested in religious debate and the damage unchecked theism does to communities, Intelligent Design On Trial.

The documentary graphs the rise and fall of the Intelligent Design movement in the community of Dover, Texas. It was in Dover that the local public school teachers banded together to file a lawsuit against the Dover Board of Education to remove Intelligent Design textbooks and curriculum from the public schools, after an Intelligent Design/Creationist board member forced Intelligent Design into the curriculum alongside evolutionary theory. The American Civil Liberties Union steps in to both represent the school and conduct an investigation against the defendants in the case, which yielded the death knell of the Intelligent Design movement: a series of textbook drafts that prove that an Intelligent Design textbook was initially a Creationist textbook, and that it was changed to an "Intelligent Design" textbook in order to maintain the illusion I.D. was a separate movement/theory from Creationism.

The judge, a conservative Republican, was outraged, and granted the legal victory to the teachers, banning Intelligent Design from public schools in Texas due to their clear basis in religious belief.
