The World Assembly,
FOLLOWING the recent chaos that has been caused globally,
NOTING that all nations, whether poor or rich, enemies or friends, can take a place in the global marketplace,
COMMENDING commerce as an ancient art that must be valued,
ENCOURAGES all member states of the world to partake in the creation of the Universal Trade League,
DEFINED by these articles:
ARTICLE I
The Universal Trade League shall serve to
Promote fair and equitable international trade
Abolish barriers to global commerce (especially ones that affect incredibly poor nations that have faced severe tariffs)
Facilitate economic cooperation across the world
Ensure transparent and just trading practices
ARTICLE II
Membership is open to all nations across the world and all members shall commit to the principles of
Non-discriminatory trade practices
Mutual economic respect
Transparent commercial interactions
ARTICLE III
All member states agree to
Minimise trade barriers
Respect international trade agreements
Protect intellectual property rights
Prevent unfair trade practices
ARTICLE IV
The Universal Trade League shall establish a dispute resolution committee which allows disputes to be resolved via
Diplomatic negotiations
Mediation from neutral, uninvolved and unbiased forces
Arbitration by the arbitration council
Formal international adjudication as a last resort
ARTICLE V
Members shall
Share economic best practices
Provide mutual economic assistance
Collaborate on economic development initiatives
THESE articles shall lay the foundation for the universal trade league.
