What is a TG? What is a storefront?

Who needs it, who got it, who hands it out and why.

What is a TG? What is a storefront?

Postby NorthernPesos » Fri Dec 13, 2024 9:45 am

At the following link you can see that I annoyed somebody by not replying in the language of NationStates

but I do have a problem because the language here is very new to me and it sounds very different from

English as I am used to defining "English."

What is a TG?

What is a storefront?

Is a storefront almost any post on the Global Economics and Trade forum?

Should any post to the Global Economics and Trade forum be tweaked to resemble a "store front" for NorthernPesos?

My apologies but although I have found some of your rules... your whole approach is very new to me because I really only can act out one role.... me!

Well a storefront is really any thread on Global Economics and Trade in which the OP (Original Poster) creates a thread to sell a product or act as a company, so most threads would be considered storefronts but some are not really depends on the OP decisions but in general if its selling something with a catalog of sorts its a storefront.

Nearly every sub-forum has a post pinned near the top that explains the rules and expectations of that sub-forum. These Welcome/FAQ/Rules/Guide/New Player threads explain what belongs on those sub-forums, and usually talk a bit about the forum culture, special terminology used there, and what not to do.

The thread for Global Economics and Trade is here: GE&T Welcome Thread.

If you are uncertain about things, you need to read those threads *before* you post so that you can avoid running afoul of the rules and pissing off all the other forumites.

Excellent..... now that I know this I shall be much more careful in the future. No wonder I annoyed the guy or girl who had obviously put in a lot of work.... and then by their definition of what is NOT humour..... I really messed up their hard work.

Yes... thank you... obviously although I had read some of the rules... I certainly had NOT read enough rules.......

Yes... I have annoyed several people already so I shall try to become more well informed. This reminds me of a saying.... "ignorance is power!"

Although I tend to vehemently disagree with that assertion.... I have noticed that some of the most simplistic of thinkers do tend to have the highest level of zeal or enthusiasm for whatever they are concerned enough about to research at least some.

One or two views of "An Inconvenient Truth" and a lot of people think that they are experts on the topic....... and by that I mean experts either for.... or against... the Al Gore Carbon Tax theory.

For the record I am NOT an expert on that or any other topic but once I become interested in some topics I do tend to research them a lot by the usual USA or Canadian standards. [Our scary climate does tend to keep us Canadians indoors out of the cold]!
