RMB Search Ideas.

I propose the NS adds the features of being able to Jump to posts and Highlighting the specific word(s) you looked up which are already on Forum search to RMB search. It would only make sense as they are on their forum counterpart and Jumping to posts would be handy in some active regions and the Highlighting is useful for reading long RP Posts.

Additionally, it'd be nice if we could search through RMB post of users because the only way right now is to load some of their 'previous activity' and even that its kind of limited and doesn't work that well

Minus the words being specifically highlighted, you can already do this.

Load the region's RMB, then hit the "Search" link at the top.

Expand the "[+] Advanced" option at the top if needed.

Search the term you want, for the author you want, in the region you want.

To jump to a specific post from the results, click its timestamp. If you want to see what's around it, select the "context" link.

As VH mentioned, the functionality you're asking for already exists, minus the highlighting.

This is also where I need to clarify that the forums are an off-the-shelf software package whereas the RMBs are custom. As a result, we can't just slap parts from one into the other. We could consider implementing text fragments though.

Edit: although now that I think about that, it'll only highlight the first instance, which would be in the search bar. So text fragments are useless here.
