Issue author not mentioned in boneyard?

Postby Amjedia » Tue Dec 10, 2024 10:51 am

Hello,

I received the Issue 624: a role to play. According to the issue, the author was Panthera corpus renatus.
However, when I view the nation in the boneyard, it ceased to exist with 902 million population on
07/06/2016. The nation was created on 27/12/2015. The name is not reserved as an author. Compared to
Bored yawning which ceased to exist in 2003 and have the name reserved with 513 million population.

Thank you and best regards

Endraas, by contrast, is listed as an issues author - even though nobody got their issue until May 2019, almost a year after they CTEd. (Note that they had 400 million population, below the threshold after which a nation name cannot be reused.)

My question now, is what will happen if someone created a nation with the same name?

I noticed that someone created a nation with the same name: Panthera corpus renatus.

Well: since I did not answer to the issue, it links now to the new nation.

Thanks for the report.

Unfortunately, I would have preferred this to be in GHR form since it was immediately refounded by a bad actor, which makes the process of fixing it for the real Panthera Corpus Renatus much more inconvenient. I have vanquished impersonator version of the nation and we'll work on a way to get the proper credit to the original.

Panthera Corpus Renatus is still marked as being "Disgraced." Is the team still working on a fix?
