Are you a major non-NATO ally?

Nyaungyan is not aligned with NATO, the Russians, or Chinese. The government and citizens have always felt that Nyaungyan should either lead their own Asian power bloc or be neutral in world affairs. However, Nyaungyan did recently join ASEAN, ending their 78-year neutrality.

Ahhhh hey, FINALLY I get a chance to meet another Burmese nation, hehe. So.. a couple of questions, really!

- Are you Burmese or nah? To be clear, absolutely no judgement from me here, it delights me to see another Burmese person, or just someone who is interested in the country and its history.
[This was written before you declare about non-IRL questions. Ah well, worth a shot!]

- Any particular plans or time periods that you would like to cover? The source materials of the RL country, unfortunately, are a bit difficult to find, most of it from more foreign sources. Not that anything's too wrong with it, more of that our own sources are not digitized or just simply lost.
- A particular favorite city of Burma?

Also, the Empire is not a democracy. It is an absolute Buddhist theocratic monarchy. There are no official political parties. However, free speech and freedom of the press is allowed. As for policy views, the Emperor and to an extent the entire government believes in closed borders to Bangladesh, one year of conscripted military service, lowered tariffs to friendly nations, free medicare and education, and the widespread use of renewable energy.

I am actually not Burmese. I am however very interested in the old Burmese Empires and kingdoms that preceded British colonization. Also, that question was completely acceptable, I meant non-IRL questions more like "where do you live" or "what is your age", and the like. Should probably clarify that

I want to sort of bring the Toungoo era into modern times, with a Toungoo king, old Burmese culture (I'm not sure if there's much difference) from this era, among other things. I need help capturing this aesthetic though, part of the reason I made this nation was to learn more about Burmese history and tradition. It's something I'm not too familiar with, admittedly.

And my favorite Burmese city has got to be Mandalay. I've seen photos and it looks incredible, I've wanted to visit for a while now. However, the whole situation over there, a lack of money, and my young(ish) age prevents me from doing that.

(Well I swear I am NOT trying to sell myself on your thread) On top of that, I actually don't know much about my own classes, on the account of them being nearly 2 decades ago and that it was a bit of a pain to go through (the content is fine, but the classes were... yeah I really hate rote memory stuff). With that all said and done, I can offer to TG you a little now and then.
