So I was watching this video yesterday of this one guy saying that trump might try to buy Greenland once more. He estimated that it would cost from anywhere between 20-50 Billion Dollars. He stated that this would be a good deal for both sides since Denmark would have to wait for the ice to melt to extract the many resources in Greenland, and instead of playing the long term, they could get an nice bag right now, also stating that there might be extra included defensive agreements for the danish outside of the NATO agreement. Meanwhile the U.S would get an island with immense riches as well as a nice Naval Base in the North Atlantic, and the U.S with their better technology could begin resource extraction right away. This was confirmed when one person asked their congressman if this would be reexplored and the Congressman confirmed it. Now in my opinion I would love to buy Greenland once we lower inflation and spending however I have a feeling the Danish would reject it. However for the right price they might be able to persuade them. Still this is all speculation and there has been no actual reports of such a thing. What are your thoughts on this matter?

I don't think many people are taking Trump's claim about buying Greenland that seriously because he says so many other crazy things already. Of course it is a bad idea, but we don't really know for sure at this point if he is actually going to try to go through with it.

One advantage to Greenland being owned by America would be that the quantity of H2O in massive chunks that are cracking and sliding off the land based Greenland ice Sheet into the North Atlantic Ocean would be taken more seriously by theorists who I believe should break away from a Carbon Tax Scheme.

Cracking and sliding of H2O in massive chunks off of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet is a greater threat when it comes to rising ocean levels..... but better numbers and greater awareness about Greenland could be a good thing for how the media spin how best to respond to climate change.

Everybody in northern Canada and Alaska know that significant warming is happening in the Arctic.

Sooner or later we will be in a situation where the amount of H2O being added to Antarctica will no longer balance the amount of H2O cracking and sliding off Greenland and the world's glaciers.
