how do you look for ex-nation cards?

Postby Nightralia » Sat Dec 07, 2024 3:50 am

Like the title said. If I want to find a particular nation's card but they have CTE'd, is there any search function I can use, or is asking the only thing that will help?
"Sometimes the brightest light is found in the darkest depths of night"
Advanced post-apocalyptic nation based primarily on Night, with a Sanskrit-Sami population and a perpetual light pollution-free night sky.

Almost everyone you meet online, everyone you get into arguments with, hurl insults at, get flamed by... are good, friendly, kind people in real life. Remember that the person, the nation, the name you're addressing exists behind the screen. A life of their own; problems, joys, fears and secrets.
They are just as unique as you are. Their opinions do not make them inferior. Neither do yours. Attack the war, not the conscript.

I would suggest the boneyard. They record all of the Ex-Nations with the already living nations too! You can see if they had a card too

I checked, and the boneyard only seems to show the dispatches of the ex-nation, not whether they had a card or not.
(btw are you the totally not an arlandian spy)

Ex-nation cards only appear in season 1 packs, which have a 0.5% chance to appear (I think).
For some reason, I've dedicated this nation to Yeezy and China, and I don't know why :)

If you don't see a card on the boneyard page of a nation, that nation doesn't have a card.
Take a look at the boneyard page for Morover, for example. A nation that ceased to exist after Season 3 started:

Are you looking for cards of CTE (Ceased to Exists) nations or are you looking for ex-nations cards. Those two are not the same.

Ex-nation card: https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/ ... 6/season=1
Card of a CTE nation: https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/ ... 1/season=3

Note that ex-nation cards are not necessarily of CTE nations, Noahs Second Country has an ex-nation card in S1, but is very much a nation that still exists. While Annihilators of Chan Island does not have any ex-nation cards in all three season, but is CTE.

yeah I'm looking for CTE cards. nations which now don't exist, but had regular cards in the past

https://queries.kractero.com works very well to find cards, it requires a bit of technical know how at times though.
Also, cards of CTE nations are also listed on the boneyard of the nation: https://www.nationstates.net/page=boney ... aizlhislhe
if they are not on the boneyard they did not have a card.
