Not sure my nation is in a region

I refounded my nation and it does state I am in Lazarus, but I cannot comment on the RMB, nor does it show my refounding in happenings.

Your nation page says you're in the region "Starlit", the region where your nation ceased to exist. That region doesn't exist however...
Maybe you can try to move to another region and see if that solves you being in limbo?

This marks the third or fourth nation in recent memory that refounded weirdly that's been noted in this subforum.

Thanks for the report, I've raised this with admin, though I think we're already pretty clear on the cause.

When the servers get hammered by bots (which happens slightly less often than "constantly") the environment becomes ripe for race conditions, and it looks like the one we have showing up the most lately is that nations are not being restored correctly when revived. There is a somewhat complex fix in development to prevent this (and a variety of other) bugs from happening in the future, but it's not yet ready for deployment.

You're in a region, it's just that region doesn't exist. I speculate that this may cause some problems in the long run, namely that your nation may potentially never update, meaning your population will never grow and your stats may not properly rank. It would likely be advisable to relocate to a different region.

Somebody has put this on the Wayback Machine, along with, I believe, Starlit not existing, to be preserved forever as that one time that one thing happened.

I am curious, however, what would happen if you or somebody else recreated the region Starlit. I believe you may have been the founder and/or governor, based on your happenings, so possibly that data would be restored and if made by someone else there would be two founders. I'm not sure about that, though, I don't know anything about the technical side of NS.

A couple of points of clarification. Jinxy is "actually" in Osiris, not Lazarus or Starlit. Right this second, it can even be seen in the list of nations by influence (and by other stats) as well as in the World Happenings "12/5/2024, 5:03:51 PM EST: Jinxy was refounded in Osiris."

I took a moment to look into this and noticed that the user behind Jinxy made what looks like 5 login/refound requests over the course of just under a minute before Jinxy was refounded. It's notable that all five requests completed the same second or so that the nation was refounded. Could you perhaps relate the steps you took?

The original attempt at refounding led to just a logged out page, so I attempted a few times more with the same result twice. After refreshing the page I got the message saying there was no ex-Nation with the name of Jinxy (meaning it had likely been refounded - I refound a lot of nations), and then I logged into it.
