Primarch Prepares Populace for Popular Governance
By USS Merrimack

Today, on the 1st Day of December, a momentous occasion was announced. Our Primarch, Rhaza, announced that drafting of the Covenant of Radiance had begun.

The Covenant will serve as the governing document for the Plains of Perdition. Since the inception of Perdition and Rhaza taking the Delegacy on the major update of November 26-27, the region has been run under Edicts of Light, executive orders issued at the discretion of the Primarch.

His Luminance has been methodical regarding the founding of the region and formation of a civilian government. Speaking on the foundings of Balder and Osiris in 2011, His Luminance cited the chaos that plagued both Restorers (then Sinkers) in their infancy, and the factional warfare that set them off in unstable paths for many years.

With that in mind, when asked about the document, His Luminance was clear: “No government is ever perfectly unique - this document is going to be a synthesis of some ideas and systems we think have worked well in other regions, as well as various original ideas.”

In showing his commitment to the stability and security of the region, Rhaza reported to the Perdition Post that the Primarchy and Archonate was here to stay. This in response to some questions regarding the permanence of the current institutions written under the Edicts of Light. The Primarch also clarified that the Edicts of Light would remain, serving in a function similar to Royal Decrees.

The realm of culture was not ignored, with His Luminance clarifying that the document would incorporate regionalist ideas, and put an emphasis on a Sinkerite ideology.

As the days march on towards a civilian government, the Plains of Perdition finds itself thriving, at peace, and developing a strong culture.

I feel with that name and your message, you should not be posting such things as one would naturally assume a government affiliation, also there already is a thread.

A region can have a regional newsletter which isn't affiliated with the government of said region. not everything that happens in a region is caused by the government.

The Perdition Post has the blessing of the Primarch and Archonate, as an initiative by some of the illuminated (citizenry), and thus far has provided a great running commentary on events in the region.

Until the wider regional infrastructure is more established the official statements of the Primarchy can be found in the Ledger of Edicts and on the forum thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=558854

Offsite Forum Offered, Among Several New Regional Services
By The United Australian States

The Plains of Perdition, a new sinker region formally established on November 27, 2024, has already seen steady population growth, exceeding a 600-nation mark by the start of December. Although this steady increase can be attributed to the sinker’s gameside mechanics, regional leaders are swiftly building infrastructure to support its growing presence on the NationStates stage. With a vibrant regional message board, organized Discord, and established constitution, the region is well underway in providing stable infrastructure to support its burgeoning population. This infrastructure includes a new forum, which is projected to play a crucial role in regional activity.

Just one week after Perdition’s establishment, regional leadership created a forum to support offsite discussion, a pathway to citizenship, and interregional collaboration. Now just shy of 50 members, it seems like participation is off to a great start. Offsite threads and discussions are beginning to appear.
These include an “All Things Cards” thread for the collector enthusiast, a “Count to 666” thread for ‘perditious’ folks interested in counting to the number of the beast, and the “Should we elect the Delegate!? Open this thread to support!” thread. We highly recommend you visit this last thread.

For the aspiring resident interested in becoming a citizen, known formally as an “Illuminated,” the forum offers an opportunity to become just that. Submit the proper paperwork and endorse the right folks, and you may be on your way to a spot as one of the region’s citizens. Currently, the forum is the only formal route to citizenship. The application thread states that “Whether you've been ejected from your previous region, we recruited you, or you stumbled over here: Perdition is happy to have you and hopes you make this place your home.” Perdition citizens are also offered a unique subthread in the forum to discuss regional matters with their fellow Illuminated. Considering the region's growth, this thread is projected to become a hive of activity for interested NationStates players.

Perdition’s new forum extends beyond the region's borders, offering an offsite space for embassy applications. With nine embassies already occupying personalized threads, the infrastructure for this forum is off to a strong start. Ambitious diplomats seeking to construct embassies with the new region are invited to visit this thread. Perdition appears optimistic in its interregional aspirations, extending its diplomatic salutation with “Hello, diplomat! If you seek an embassy with the Plains of Perdition, you are in the right place.” If you are seeking an embassy, look no further than this thread.

Regardless of your interest in The Plains of Perdition, the forum holds the resources you need to follow whichever path you choose. If you feel so inclined, make an account, say hello, and see what this new game-created region offers!

TPP | An Interview With Chancellor Nolrem

Interview with Perdition's First Chancellor
By Ghost of Tiyrannus Three

The Plains of Perdition, one of NationState’s newest Sinker regions, formed its first government this week. Primarch Rhaza appointed the nation of Nolrem as the region’s first Chancellor on Sunday, formally laying the groundwork for Perdition’s future. Per Article V of the Covenant of Radiance, the Chancellor is the head of government for the region, acting on a 4-month term and appointed by the region’s Primarch. Their duty is to form a cabinet and lead the region in its strategic initiatives, both internally and at an interregional scale.

Today, the Perdition Post has the honor of interviewing Chancellor Nolrem to discuss the establishment of this new position. Questions for the Chancellor span topics such as role-specific duties, plans for the region, and an inside take on Nolrem’s thoughts on the direction of the role. Read below to hear from Perdition's new Chancellor regarding their foundational appointment and what the region will look like moving forward.

Questions:

1. As the first Chancellor of The Plains of Perdition, you possess the unique ability to set the tone for this posting, setting the bar for future leaders in this position. What are your thoughts on this reality, specifically as it relates to the region’s perception and expectations for this position? Are you excited for what lies ahead?

I am very happy to have the honor of being Perdition's first chancellor. It is very, very rare in NationStates that anyone can say they were the first anything in a GCR, and to be the first head of the civilian government is a great honor.

As to my ability to set the tone for the position going forward, I think it's great. Most, if not all, of my leadership experience before this point has been in the Warzones, and the Warzones make you practical. Which is why I have entered into my term with a sense of practicality about things. I don't think the tone I've set is one that requires, or expects, the best out of anyone, but rather that the tone of my tenure is one of people showing up and doing what they can to ensure that the region has a bright future.

I am very excited to see what lies ahead for perdition.

2. Considering that TPoP is not only a GCR and Sinker, but also a brand new region, there is significant weight behind early decisions from regional leadership. Other regions may be looking closely at our development, and NationStates hasn’t seen the formation of a new Sinker region in roughly 1½ decades. As the region’s first Chancellor, what are your thoughts on interregional perception of your future decisions and actions?

This might be somewhat controversial, but I don't have any thoughts on this subject. I have not stopped to worry about what the interregional community will think of Perdition, me, or my term. I am just doing the best I can, come what may.

3. What broad initiatives do you hope to establish within your 4-month term? What programs, traditions, or expectations do you hope to create as the first Chancellor of the region?

When I was nominated to be chancellor I talked about this in my speech explaining what I wanted to accomplish this term. Members of the Illuminated can find this speech on our regional forums (and if you're not a member of the Illuminate, now is a great time to become one!).

Briefly I'll go over those things again:

I want to get manual recruitment up and running, and create a diverse set of rewards to encourage people to help in recruitment.

I want to continue doing the things we were already doing to encourage more people to join us on our discord and forum.

I want to establish a regional game night that happens on a weekly basis; where we play free-to-play games as a community, to help foster friendships and bring the community closer together.

I want to establish a cards guild that will help to provide rewards and incentives, as well as activities, to people who take part in other regional initiatives.

And, finally, I'd like to host at least one cultural event this term, whether just an internal event or something we do with a friendly region or two, it's all up in the air right now.

4. What should Perditions expect in terms of your communication with the region? I hesitate to use the word ‘transparency’ for this question, but do you plan to personally communicate regularly with the region concerning new developments in government and activities?

It has been said that sunlight is the best disinfectant, which is a sentiment that I agree with, I will be as communicative with the region as I can be. Anyone who has questions about what is going on with the government is always welcome to approach me, and ask those questions.

I will address the region as a whole when necessary to announce new initiatives, projects, and whatever updates that there may be.

5. Many nations in our region have served or existed under numerous NationStates leaders and leadership styles. Perdition is expected to have a large sample of nations with different ideas and backgrounds. Are there nations around you from which you draw inspiration?

I think what you're getting at here is which players inspire me, and there are a lot of them who have inspired me over the years I've played NationStates, and a number of them whom I turn to when I need to talk out the tough decisions I've had to make. I'm not going to list them all out.

6. Do you have a particular strategy for governance in mind?
My strategy for governance is best summed up by the phrase "Aces in their Places," which means finding the best people for a role, putting them into that role, and letting them shine like the diamonds they are.

7. Lastly, what governing strategies do you think will succeed or fail?

Different governing strategies work differently for different people. Some people govern best when they are involved in every aspect of their government, some people govern best when they sit back and encourage, and help from the sidelines. Neither is better or worse than the other, it depends upon who the person doing the leading is, and who the person being lead is.

8. What prior leadership skills do you bring to the table, and what personal tools or experiences do you possess which will set you up for success in this role?

Apart from nearly two decades worth of real life managerial experience in a variety of industries, I've played NationStates for 5 years, and nearly all of that has been in a leadership position of some sort or another. Whether it is my record-setting tenure as the Ali'i of Warzone Sandbox, and later the God-Emperor of the Warzone Empire. I've also held lesser leadership positions within The League, and a variety of smaller regions.

9. The Primarch of the region appointed you for this posting in early December. What do you think your future communication and relationship will look like with permanent regional leaders such as the Primarch?

Primarch Rhaza and I have been in close communication for years, and I do not see that changing while I'm serving under them as Chancellor of Perdition.

10. Our region’s constitution, the Covenant of Radiance, outlines our commitment to embracing Sinker values. How do you plan to adopt these values into your leadership style and cabinet expectations? What do Sinker values mean to you personally?

As the Covenant of Radiance states, the Plains of Perdition is a region of second chances. With some exceptions, nearly any player can come to our region seeking a new start and find one here. As a leader I will offer my guidance and the ability to participate to anyone who engages in good faith with our community. It's a good chance for people to start over and redefine their trajectory in NationStates.

11. Considering NationStates game mechanics as they relate to Sinker regions, unknown issues may arise as the region integrates new nations into the fold. We are expected to have significant influxes in rejected nations. Considering the current spike in population growth, what do you anticipate will be the region’s biggest strengths and weaknesses in fostering genuine and healthy activity?

I think one of our regions biggest strengths is our RMB, we're almost always talking there and there is nearly always someone around for new players to interact with. That's a very powerful tool for getting new players to stick around and join our community.

As long as we remain friendly and welcoming, we're in a good place.

12. Are there any thoughts you would like to add that were not covered in this interview? What message would you share to Perditions and the greater NationStates community relating to your hopes for your role and the region?

I want Perditians to understand that my term and tenure are not about being remembered as the best Chancellor that Perdition will ever see, that's not what I'm aiming for. This term is about setting up the basics our region needs to succeed in the future and creating a foundation on which future Chancellors can build to greater and greater success. I would like everyone who considers being Chancellor in the future to keep this goal in mind, and to structure their own terms in such a way that whomever comes after them and build upon their successes to build the region to a better place.

I look forward to working with everyone to make this happen.

The Perdition Post would like to thank Chancellor Nolrem for their time in sharing insights and thoughts on this historic appointment. As the region begins to develop, spirits are high and optimism is strong for the future.

SATIRE | Potato Hosting NS Server Crashes…

Potato Hosting NS Server Crashes... Again and for Good
By Ghost of Tiyrannus Three

BREAKING NEWS!!!

At around 12:00 am Central, NationStates once again crashed. Although the crashes are recurring and expected, this time was different. Lags and complete outages continued during the early hours of the morning.

Correspondents from The Perdition Post (TPP) arrived at NationStates’ server complex, greeted with the smell of cooked potatoes and game admin scurrying around with anxious looks. Reports state that NS administrators were seen wearing hot mitts and attempting to toss one incredibly baked potato into a sink with rushing cold water. TPP reports that the baked potato was, in fact, the old hardware hosting the game’s server…

TPP chief correspondent, Ghost of Tiyrannus Three, is coming in live, now, witness to this starchy scene.

TPP Anchor: Ghost of Tiyrannus III, we’re here live from The Perdition Post’s broadcasting HQ. Tell us, what are you seeing here on the ground?

GT3: Hey, HQ, glad to be covering this unusual event. The reports are correct, NS admin have located the source of this evening’s server crash. Their Yukon Gold potato that hosted the game’s server has finally baked. We’re not really sure how long that thing has been keeping the game up and running, but it looks like it has reached its shelf life.

TPP Anchor: This is shocking news, Tiyrannus. Is there any update on the root of this problem?

GT3: *Tiyrannus stands in repose, smiling, waiting for the live camera to signal his response*

Yes, we have reports from NationStates administration and we are keeping our eyes peeled. Two game admin experienced third-degree burns attempting to dislodge the potato from the server rack. A resourceful onlooker provided a home kitchen oven mitt to avoid future injuries. It looks like the server room is also partially fried from this accident. Not surprising, considering the server room is just a plastic Waste Management recycling bin. Not to worry, though, it looks like a replacement is soon on its way!

*The news camera pans to the side, displaying a system administrator wheeling in a Waste Collections trash can to the scene.*

TPP Anchor: This update seems optimistic, Tiyrannus. Are any further outages expected this evening?

GT3: At this time, the NS Admin team has released a statement clarifying that no further outages are expected tonight. But we’re not certain. I’m receiving details on this statement now.

TPP Anchor: Well, for the folks listening in, it looks like things should be up and running soon! We’ll be back shortly for updates on this breaking news after a short break! Stay tuned.

*Commercial Break Begins*
*Sped-up voice listing medical side effects for the latest blockbuster drug can be heard.*
*A McDonald's commercial for the 'Buy One Get One for $1' deal plays. A happy family can be seen eating a $1.00 small fries*

TPP's Broadcasting Theme Song Plays, the TPP’s logo spins onto the screen, and TPP’s broadcaster smiles at the camera.

TPP Anchor: Folks, we are back! Covering the latest game outage. Let’s get back to Ghost of Tiyrannus Three, Chief Correspondent, as he covers these updates on the ground.

GT3: HQ, it is great to be back after the commercial break. NS admin have released their full statement. The old Yukon Gold potato used to host the server has been safely disposed of. I’m seeing what appears to be an Umatilla Russet potato being placed inside NS’s new server room. For the folks tuning in at home, this is amazing news. Stats show that russet potatoes perform twice as efficiently and faster than those outdated Yukon Gold server models.

TPP Anchor: There you have it folks! It looks like NationStates is here to provide only the best in technical services. Tiyrannus, how long do you anticipate this new server will last?

GT3: HQ, only time will tell, but for now, we are all set to go. Enjoy your evening, and remember, NationStates is in good hands. See you tater! This is Tiyrannus with The Plains of Perdition Post! Out.

TPP Anchor: That’s all for this evening’s breaking news. Parents and your tots, tune in tomorrow as TPP reports on exciting regional news. Have a great night.

*Camera Pans away from the broadcasting set, the TPP Anchor smiles, TPP logo spins into view, and exit music plays.*

*Broadcasting feed cuts to static*

TPP | Chaos Ensues as Covenant Shores Falls

Chaos Ensues as Covenant Shores Falls
By Ghost of Tiyrannus Three

Breaking News!

On Saturday, December 28, Covenant Shores, a Christian-themed region, experienced a notable dissolution of nations after a quick series of events. Just two days prior, the region’s founder and governor, Ajakor, abdicated, providing the governorship to Saint Asperes. Upon receiving this role, Saint Asperes is reported to have discovered a deeply entrenched organized anti LGBT+ campaign mounting in the region. Saint Asperes also noted that 10 nations of the alleged 30 involved in the scheme are self-proclaimed Nazis, though this is unconfirmed.

Saint Asperes ejected and banned roughly 143 nations from Covenant Shores. The region went from 258 nations to 119 nations in less than 3 hours and the region became password protected. Nearly 40 embassies were also withdrawn from the region, including the Covenant Shores Roleplay and Covenant Shores Congress regions. Many other Christian-themed regions saw their embassies close as well, indicating a clear goal to dissolve the region and its interregional ties.

Rhaza, the Primarch of The Plains of Perdition, then reached out to Saint Asperes asking if a coup was ongoing, and Saint Asperes responded, requesting military aid in securing and dissolving the region. Rhaza was given control of Covenant Shores’ Governorship through abdication, beginning by changing the region’s banner to Perdition’s sigil of the monarchy. One reason for the Primarch’s move was the implications of Asperes’ banjections impacting NationStates’ three Sinker regions. Of the 143 banjections, 52 nations reached The Outback, 46 landed in The Rejected Realms, and 45 entered The Plains of Perdition. Since Covenant Shores had over 100 WA nations, the three Sinkers briefly discussed the matter during the purges as they related to endorsement cap security.

The World Factbook Entry has been updated and several successors have been appointed. A dispatch explaining Saint Asperes’ actions have been published. Despite not having a military, Perdition has acted quickly to address a potential threat to its security and pacify Covenant Shores. As the dust settles on this quick turn of events for Covenant Shores, more details are sure to come. Stay tuned!

One of the co-founders here. I was unable to do what Saint Asperes did but I did spread the word on the region, Making sure everyone knew of the shitty things of CS. The final nail in the coffin came swiftly. Congrats and my respects to Saint Asperes, a fellow traditor of Covenant Shores.

TPP | Perdition’s 2024 Recap, A Story in Numbers
By Ghost of Tiyrannus Three

On November 26, 2024, NationStates surprised us all by creating the new sinker region The Plains of Perdition. After seeing Perdition appear on the NS update logs, Scarlette was first to step foot into the region and ceremonially announce their arrival on the RMB. Many nations soon followed. Some were travellers, curiously observing the new phenomenon. Others were rejected nations, surprised at not being met with the signature prancing unicorn of The Rejected Realms. A few nations coyly expressed their interest to seize control of the promising region, even going so far as to self-appoint regional titles. Experienced players skipped the theatrics, vying for WA endorsements to establish their eminence in the foundling GCR. It is a rare sight indeed to witness the creation of a new GCR, and many prospective nations inserted themselves into the undocumented chaos of the region’s prologue. Perdition’s founding created a ripe setting for an exciting unwritten narrative. The region you see today begins just like any good story, with one person’s simple eagerness to find adventure beyond their doorstep.

By November 27, true to his words, Rhaza received enough WA support from allies and strangers alike to be elected WA Delegate. Following this event, Rhaza and his supporters swiftly built a provisional government under a sovereign Primarchy, which is now a fully-formed governing body. Here, Perdition’s story begins. Read onward for The Plains of Perdition 2024 recap, where The Perdition Post highlights the region’s important milestones and notable events of 2024, all while providing rare firsthand documentation on the early development of a NationStates GCR.

Population and Governance, a Story of Beginnings

2024 Numbers at a Glance - Population
Total Population: 1253
Total Illuminated (Citizens): 50
Total Lightbringers: 136
Total Discord Members: 182
Total Forum Users: 100
Total Embassies: 23

As of December 31, 2024, Perdition has seen impressive development, both from a gameside and community-building perspective. The structural integrity of this feat is built around Perdition’s efficient government structure, which balances the importance of healthy growth with the inevitable challenges that face a sinker region.

The Covenant of Radiance is Perdition’s written charter of government, organized into five articles and a preamble. The Edicts of Light, Perdition’s executive laws, number at seven, and will undoubtedly grow in number as the region develops.

Perdition has 10 major members of government. The Chancellor and cabinet constitute the civilian government, formed under the Primarch. Perdition’s Primarch is the monarch of the region. The Chancellor, appointed by the Primarch for a 4-month term, selects their cabinet and holds executive authority over Perdition.

The security of the young sinker region is led by three Archons, and two Luminarchs working under the Archonate. These nations guard the sovereignty of the Primarch and lead regional security. The Lightbringers of Perdition, those who endorse the Primarch and the Archons, provide WA support for the security of the region. There were 136 of them at the end of 2024.

Culture, a Story of Creative Collaboration

“I think one of our region’s biggest strengths is our RMB, we're almost always talking there and there is nearly always someone around for new players to interact with. That's a very powerful tool for getting new players to stick around and join our community.”
Nolrem, Perdition’s first Chancellor

Perdition’s community and culture is growing day by day. The bustling ministry of culture brings events, competitions, and news to the region. With just over a month of development, Perdition has seen dedicated nations bring their creative spark to the region, lighting the way for exciting activity and opportunities. Perdition’s culture centers around robust national activity. In a recent interview with Perdition’s Chancellor, the RMB came up as a valued asset to the region, being a place full of activity and nations of all backgrounds getting to know each other.

2024 Numbers at a Glance - Culture
29 Questions of the Day
7 Perdition Post Publications
4 Drawings and 13 Legendary Card Giveaways
6630 RMB Posts (Including Suppressed)

Beyond organic conversation, Perdition has bustling activity in its discord, with a now busy card marketplace, game nights, and lively voice chats. Each week, Illuminated nations are treated with a government-sponsored legendary card giveaway, by way of random drawing. The regional flag contest is in development and The Perdition Post regularly publishes regional updates, even branching into interregional reporting prior to the new year. Question of the Day, a recurring staple of conversation, adds vox pop flavor to the RMB. What is your favorite birthday cake flavor? Not sure? Well do you prefer raiding or defending?

As expected for any region, and particularly, a sinker region, spamming on the RMB is commonplace. In the early days, trolls freely roamed the region’s barren landscape upon its founding. To no one’s surprise, NS mods intervened, sending the criminal element of the region scurrying back to their makeshift hovels. One of Perdition’s moderators, 0cala, although appointed just right before the new year, took the time to retroactively suppress offending posts dating back to the inception of Perdition’s government. Regional culture directly challenges sinker antics. Trolls and flame-baiters are swiftly faced with the smoking barrel of a suppression. Although unable to permanently ban nations, Perdition’s gameside culture is declaratively positive and healthy, despite the odds.

The Perdition forum, which opened on December 4, is Perdition’s central business district. As of 2025, Perdition’s largest employer is the executive branch of the government. Separated into distinct threads, folks can apply for government jobs, catch up on official government news, and meet fellow region members. Zooming out to an interregional view, the Perdition government has already annexed another region and been featured in the foreign press. The Perdition Post also branched into interregional articles, covering the annexation of Covenant Shores and drafted an upcoming interview with foreign leadership. Stay tuned!

Integration & Recruitment, a Story of Tireless Industry

2024 Numbers at a Glance - Recruitment
10 Recruitment Team Members
183 Clock-ins For Manual Recruitment
20,000+ Total Manual Recruitment TG’s Sent
3080 - Most TG’s Sent by One Recruiter
(Excluding Rhaza)
1st-Ever Recruiter of the Month

The Ministry of Integration & Recruitment has spearheaded a successful recruitment strategy envisioned from the very founding of the government. Read TPP’s coverage of recruitment progress here. Numbers at a glance show an impressive launch for the ministry’s initiatives.

Lead by the Minister of Integration & Recruitment, Ostropeake, 2024 saw the rapid construction of an organized recruitment plan for Perdition, with stamp, API, and manual recruitment programs set in place before the new year. Integration & Recruitment is Perdition’s most active ministry by mouse-clicks alone, with over an estimated 60,000 clicks required to obtain the manual recruitment numbers shown above. Recruiters are unfortunately not paid by the click, or at all, as this work represents the tireless dedication of volunteer members of the region.

Perdition looks forward to enjoying increased telegram and API recruitment in 2025, thus reducing the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome for busy recruiters.

Beginning in 2024, the ministry created an awards system for manual recruiters. Nations sending between 250-20,000+ telegrams are displayed on the recruitment leaderboard. Luciterraena was the first nation to receive the title of 'Recruiter of the Month,' sending 3080 telegrams in December. Along with a custom discord title, the recruiter of the month receives recognition in the RMB and leaderboard.

Role Play, a Story of Collective Narrative

“Lightbound is a modern tech region set ten years in the future on the Earth-like world of Arterra. Here, your nation can change the course of history through a dynamic world of diplomacy, alliances, and even war! From seasoned roleplayers to those just starting out, we welcome all players interested in telling their nation’s stories!”
- Lightbound World Factbook Entry

Stepping into the world of role play and fiction, Perdition has actively spearheaded an RP, located in the region Lightbound. Although activity is in the making, 2024 saw the groundwork set for this important regional initiative. The Perdition Post does not have a stats summary for the role play, but readers should look forward to future RP coverage in the new year.

As of December 31, 14 nations joined the world Arterra, populating the custom map and posting on Lightbound’s RMB. Perdition’s Archon, Ostlantis leads the RMB initiative. The Lightbound Dispatch Office provides resources and infrastructure for participants. Nations interested in joining are required to be ‘Lightbringers’ and endorse the region’s Archonate and Primarch. At its core, the RP provides a lively space for creative storytelling while supporting the region’s security.

The Region, A Story in The Making

As outlined in its founding proclamation, Perdition rests on the core principles of light and illumination, standing as a beacon of hope, liberation, and second chances for nations looking for an adventure. These values have proven to be a cornerstone for the region’s early success on the NationStates stage, starkly contradicting its function as a sinker region for the condemned. We tell ourselves stories in order to live, and Perdition’s early history has proven to be an interesting read, with many nations enjoying their stay. The first chapter of Perdition’s narrative could be titled many things, but 'Chapter 1: 2024', has a nice ring to it.

For anyone that read this far, thank you for your readership. The Perdition Post is proud to share the region’s first chapter with you, and our team looks forward to sharing future stories of the region to come.
