Massive slowdowns, multiple timeouts

What the title says. All pages take forever to load, oftentimes crashing outright and defaulting to the flaming server page. Not just an isolated issue, as a few others in the TWP discord have also picked up on this. Seems to have started around UTC 0930, if that helps narrow things down.

We’ve been having an assortment of people, bots, and search engines just absolutely slamming us these last few days. Admin is aware and looking into it, but we’re limited in what we can do to resolve it right now.

It seems much faster now with the captcha things enabled. Also, may I ask if this was in any way related to previous slowdowns?
