What are people's favorite beverages? Beer, wine, or liquor?

Personally, I prefer a good brandy, like St. Remy XO, or a rye whiskey in the evening, and a full-bodied red wine with dinner.

I mostly drink beer (or sometimes cider) when I'm at the pub or buying cans and hanging out with friends, sometimes have wine with/after supper (especially at restaurants), and quite like a bottle of fizz on special occasions. I generally stay off sprits though.

I usually drink some kind of craft beer, though in keeping with the stereotypes I do also drink Guinness pretty often. I'll drink wine or spirits as well, but not often enough to have very strong preferences.

Some wine actually does taste like cat piss. As in, scientists have identified a chemical in common between some wines and literal cat urine.

The smaller breweries are improving that. Not always the case, still I do find a few interesting ones from time to time.

Cider? Meh. Was tad too much of a fad. Tried a few and wasn’t that memerable.

Spirits? Goes through phases. doing the gin thing, chocolate martinis and wrapped up dark manhatans….

If they were then I'd expect vintners would be breeding cats and giving them specialised diets to produce the perfect flavour of urine.
