20 years: Turtle Classic OPEN Internationale (Futbol Signup)

OOC: To celebrate my 20th anniversary, I am hosting a football/soccer tournament. All are welcome to enter their top pro (or amateur) team and a second. Depending on how many enter, I may take the seconds. The IC explanation will be forced in below! I have to relearn scorination and all that, but the plan is everyone will be equally ranked, and modified based on RP. Please signup with your teams in a reply!

The Federation of the Single Sun will nominate its two national champions from the League of the Single Sun's just-concluded inaugural season to participate in the Turtle Classic Open Internationale: Atlov, of Qusmo, and Martin Luther, of Sanford. Should only one club from the Federation of the Single Sun be entitled to play, Atlov would be the Federation's nominee, as grand champions of the Federation of the Single Sun.

We are in, due to the complicated schedule The 14 Stars will sent its best non-IFCF qualified teams (ICly IFCF and Starsian season run very close to eachother and also adding this for the top teams would really cost the top clubs their only days of rest hence why they dont take part)

Those teams respectively are Lunar Prime FC and Amazona United who were ranked 5th and 6th in our league

Currently at 16 teams. I suppose that works. I will create the tournament thread shortly. I am working on setting up xkoranate. Teams will be ranked equally except for mine, which will be ranked higher, and thus rigged in my favor. However, that by no means means my teams will win, theyll just be at a strong advantage. The Turtle Classic is generally a 2 way (or sometimes 4 way) between the top teams in Sel Appa (almost always Nemnen Turtles and FC Anila City). In the interest of brevity, I think I will just do it as a randomized knockout rather than group stage first. Teams will be graded based on RP bonuses. The more and better you write, the higher the bonus. Effort is counted most, even if English is not your native language. You are welcome to RP some or all in your native language. Maybe a domestic broadcast or newspaper in your nation. Ill also explain what kinds of RP Id be interested in in that thread.

I will also be producing an updated Schmeck Travel Guide to Sel Appa. The existing one is about 20 years old.

This is still happening, but will be delayed a bit. Still trying to figure out a way to use xkoranate. I will add subsequent entrants in and make adjustments as needed to make it work. Hopefully soon I can get this going. The delays unfortunately have been out of my control for the most part.

I am working on an everything thread to post rosters and begin RPing, while I get xkoranate sorted out. Alternatively, I may dig up a spreadsheet scorinator, or just roll dice.
