RECOGNIZING that food security is fundamental to the health, well-being and prosperity of citizens of all nations;
WHEREAS sustainable agriculture is essential to ensure food security and minimize environmental impacts;
NOTICING that different nations have unequal agricultural capacities due to geographic, technological and economic factors;
REAFFIRMING the commitment to foster international cooperation as a means of promoting sustainability and equitable development among nations;
PROPOSES the establishment of the "International Treaty for the Development of Sustainable Agriculture" (TIDAS), with the following objectives and principles:
1. Promote Cooperation and Technology Sharing:
1.1 Encourage signatory nations to share modern agricultural techniques and sustainable practices with developing countries and nations facing agricultural challenges;
1.2 Facilitate access to advanced technologies, including efficient surveillance systems, seed improvement, regulatory control and soil management strategies.
2. Create an International Agricultural Investment Fund (IAIF):
2.1 Establish a fund to support agricultural initiatives and subsidize development projects in regions where agricultural production is limited;
2.2 Provide financial assistance for the purchase of agricultural equipment, worker training, and implementation of environmentally friendly agricultural practices;
2.3 Facilitate public-private partnerships to maximize the resources and effectiveness of agricultural initiatives.
3. Encourage Sustainable Agriculture Research:
3.1 Support research programs on agricultural practices that promote sustainability and conservation of natural resources, such as regenerative agriculture and agroforestry;
3.2 Create regional research centers where scientists and farmers can collaborate to adapt agricultural techniques to local climatic and geographic conditions.
4. Establish Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanisms:
4.1 Develop a global monitoring system to evaluate the effectiveness of sustainable agricultural development programs;
4.2 Publish annual reports on the progress of signatory nations in implementing sustainable agricultural practices and improving food security.
5. Promote Agricultural Education:
5.1 Encourage signatory nations to include agricultural training programs for farmers and rural workers;
5.2 Create public awareness campaigns to ensure that the public understands the benefits of sustainable agriculture and supports related policies.
6. Promote the Adoption of Sustainable Standards:
6.1 Encourage the practice of agricultural methods that preserve ecosystems and biodiversity, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote responsible use of water and soil.

By adopting the International Treaty for Sustainable Agriculture Development, signatory nations reinforce their commitment to food security, environmental sustainability, and equitable global development.
