Clouds began to gather in the distance as the sunlight dissipated slowly but surely, leaving the previously illuminated seas and glistening snow in a dark haze, fog rolling in from the south - a storm was brewing. Still, it did little to deter the hustle and bustle of the cargo ships which glided gracefully through the dark, murky waters of the port and docked at the harbour, bringing goods from each corner of the globe. There were spices, cloths, glasswork and fruits hailing from many exotic places, the crashes and clamouring sounds of cargo being unloaded resounding across the place. Eventually, however, a new ship arrived, this time painted in grey colours and with no visible cargo in sight, aside from the group of uniformed passengers stood atop: military personnel, it soon became apparent.
The British Arzelentaxmaconean flag, its colours of crimson and yellow practically radiant against the grey skies. The foghorn sounded, signifying their arrival as merchants ducked out of its path to clear the way a little, the gargantuan battleship pulling into dock. After a while of anticipating their craft’s proper landing, the soldiers dismounted the ship, some sliding down the ropes and dropping from the deck upon the snowy ground whilst others simply walked out the usual exit, admiring their surroundings - led, of course, by Captain Kurtii. He approached a merchant, speaking in a low, almost conspiratorial tone.
“You seen any Hazahm soldiers around here? We have an.. appointment with them.”
