Not sure why but La Xinga continously refers to me by this term "Yishame'ili" my understanding is it is a term used for Arabs, I think La Xinga is using it derogatorily since I am not an Arab and they use it repeatedly in various threads in reference to me.

Others may interpret this word to refer to the descendants of Ishmael. Such folks are considered by many to mean the Arabs. In Scripture, both are blessed by God but there will always be enmity from them and they are related.

i don't know, not an expert regarding linguistic (nor am i a mod ofc) but it seems like your use of the word is rather derogatory* (at least in these quotes.)

*derogatory, but maybe not inherently racist? the same way you can use pole to refer to a polish person but if you say 'this damn pole' than that does come off as standoffish at best or potentially racist at worst.

i think it would be funny to do a little word switching here, replace yishma'eli with jew, and the jewish references to be perhaps something different.

An Anglicized form of the term would be "Ishmaelite", something obviously not derogatory unless you despised the ethnic group I believed you were in.

Because "this guy" wouldn't achieve the purpose I outlined in the post you quoted, unless Jews do not fall into the category of "guys".
