By 2079, Heldervin was a failed state. Various competing factions, some derived from dynasties and others from politicians, all vied for the crown, only exaggerated by the machine of war. The fragile government had revolutions simmering beneath the pot lid, ready to burst forth and drag the nation into another Three Hundred Years' War.

And thus, it was no surprise when protests broke out across then nation. First Vrebsicourg. Then Rhodes. Then Castor. One by one, the leadership of major cities were toppled and replaced by the Socialist Democratic Reform Party. Nobles were deposed. Palaces seized. Aristocrats tried for treason. And socialists gained power.

Now, the party organized a socialist summit in the Archdiocese of Araq, open to all socialist states.

This isn't an alliance! It's a party open to socialist leaders of the world. Or at least, a meeting where socialist leaders can convene.

I've obbserved other nations going through take-overs. I believe that if we are going to have any successs in resolving this major problem, we naeed to make the people who are taking over the nation feel like they don't have a safe place to meet.

In most situations similar to this one, these whippersnappers are able to get away with whatever because there are plenty of fideouts for them to go to to plot skeems to take over nations. I come to you all to propose a temporary sollution. I suggest hiring an agency to spy on the overtakers to see where they plan to hold their meetings. With this information, you plan your meetings in the same location so they spend more time searching for a place to meet than they do getting anything done.

I would like to follow this up, however, by saying that generally, I do not agree with spying on citizens. However, as this is an extremely unprecidented time, this should hopefuly keep the enemies at bay without rezorting to violence.
