The Security Council,
Recognizing the importance of addressing international challenges that affect the stability, peace, and prosperity of the NationStates community, including conflict resolution, collective security, and upholding human rights,
Acknowledging ongoing tensions and conflicts that have arisen in various regions, which threaten international security and the well-being of affected nations,
Expressing Concern over the rise of unilateral actions that undermine diplomatic efforts, regional stability, and international obligations, thereby threatening the principles upheld by the Security Council,
Emphasizing the need for a coordinated and multilateral approach to resolve disputes, uphold peace agreements, and foster dialogue among conflicting parties in order to achieve lasting peace and cooperation,
Declaring that all regions have a responsibility to adhere to international obligations and support global stability, including by refraining from aggressive actions, respecting regional sovereignty, and actively participating in diplomatic resolutions,
Affirming that regions and nations have the obligation to protect sapient rights, ensure fair treatment of all nations, and work towards a peaceful resolution of conflicts in accordance with international norms and Security Council guidelines,
Hereby Resolves that regions be encouraged to:
a. Prioritize diplomatic efforts in addressing conflicts, actively seeking peaceful resolutions through negotiation, mediation, and dialogue.
b. Support initiatives that promote de-escalation of tensions, including providing mediators, observers, and other resources necessary for conflict resolution.
c. Engage in multilateral forums and cooperative agreements that uphold international security, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence.
d. Sanction regions found to be engaging in unprovoked aggressive actions or violating the sovereignty of other regions.
