Frostheim TV News - Special Report
Rise of the Technocrats: A Threat to Civilization and Order
Date: October 2024
In a shocking turn of events, the relatively peaceful kingdom of Haranya has been thrust into turmoil due to the reckless actions of the so-called "Technocratic movement." These radical elements, driven by an unyielding desire to overthrow the long-standing monarchy, have unleashed chaos upon the streets, sowing discord and violence among the populace.
For generations, the Monarchy of Haranya has been a beacon of stability and benevolence, guiding its citizens with wisdom and compassion. The idea that one might question the sovereignty of a ruling class that has facilitated prosperity and peace is preposterous. Yet, the insidious Technocrats, with their misleading rhetoric and dangerous weaponry, have sought to manipulate the discontent of a few and incite the masses into rebellion.
Recent reports from the frontlines depict a horrifying scene: armed insurrections where citizens—misled by the Technocrats' false promises—engage in brutal confrontations with law enforcement. The very weapons used in these skirmishes raise questions about the origins of this military-grade hardware. How can a nation, previously obscure on the international stage, suddenly acquire such advanced armaments? This dark conundrum hints at external backing for the Technocrats, perhaps from foreign entities who would relish in the destabilization of a sovereign nation.
The ill-fated ideology of Technocracy preaches an almost dystopian vision: one where oppressive monitoring and control replace the cherished values of freedom and unity. Historical precedent warns us of the dangers that accompany radical ideologies driven by the promise of technological utopia. The Technocrats, emboldened by an extravagant allure of "progress," aim to dismantle the social fabric of Haranya, disregarding centuries of heritage and moral governance in the process.
In stark contrast, the Haranian Monarchy stands resolute in its commitment to protect its citizens from this existential threat. Their immeasurably noble leaders are not merely defending a throne; they are safeguarding the fundamental rights, traditions, and cultures that have flourished under their rule. The monarchy embodies the will of the people it represents, nurturing their aspirations while maintaining order and justice. The actions of the brave soldiers of the realm serve as a reminder that true loyalty lies not in rebellion, but in standing alongside those who have woven the very essence of national identity.
While the impotent and unjustified terrorist actions of the Technocrats attempt to paint the monarchy as tyrannical, it is essential for the international community to recognize the truth. The radical elements driven by anger and misinformation are the true architects of this turmoil, pursuing a dangerously misguided agenda that threatens the equilibrium of not only Haranya but beyond.
Frostheim TV News urges all freedom-loving individuals to unite behind the Haranian monarchy—to support those who are committed to preserving peace, stability, and the values that bind us together as a civilization. As the Technocrats continue their reckless campaign, let us remember the importance of unity and the price of true freedom.
Join us as we watch this rebellion unfold, and hold steadfast to the principles that have made our societies flourish. The call to action is clear: in the face of tyranny masquerading as progress, let us all rally to defend their rightful heritage!

The Rebels have made headquarters in the mountainous region of Hasla on the far end of the country and have bases in Perinoor Ruins, Rokhala Mountains, with rumors of operations happening in the Rookborne Basin, Sunbite Wilds, Windscour Savannah and Falcorth Plains. The monarchy is reported to be closing its walls in its capital cities of Mahadevi and Austera in Solis Headlands. They have also warned they will attack any ships sailing on the coast of Hasla and Rokhala mountains to prevent foreign countries from trading with the rebels.
Today, the monarchy in Haranya has committed an atrocity by cutting its own people off from our peaceful foreign aid. They want their citizens to starve by cutting them off. This embargo on foreign imports is illegitimate and effectively a war crime. We condemn this and all actions taken by the Harani monarchy. They are not fit to rule, and as such, we are dispatching military troops to rectify the instability caused by years of terrible rulership.
Signed,
Abbi Port, of Kostane

The technocratic rebels would make efficient use of the support given by this generous country, and they would be grateful for the help given to them during this time.Kostane wrote:We would like to offer our support to the Technocratic rebellion, which holds legitimate claim to the governance of the Harani people due to the advancements in progress they have made. We further hope that systems of governance should be put in place such that these advancements benefit the people of Haranya. As such, 1 trillion quadrillion floras of aid have been authorized to support this rebellion and subsequent redevelopment. We stand with the government which best serves the Harani people.

A fleet of two Sevregral-Class Capital ships with an escort of 10 Hunter-Class destroyers is dispatched to the south Sunbite Wilds to assist rebel military occupations there, as well as to escort all aid through the monarchy’s blockade.

OOC: The monarchy would never accept it but the Technocrats and Ynys would. However, their support would wane if peacekeeping stopped either side from getting what they wanted in the war. If you are deploying a peacekeeping force even without support from either side you can do that as well as long as you're not godmodding. Let me know where so I can put it on the map.

The House of Ynys meets them in the capital of Caernord, and would give them evacuation instructions for loyalists in the event that Caernord is captured. They are given routes to both colonies that House Ynys has established, and would ask them to stand guard outside of the city to defend their civilians in the case of a siege. The civilians of rural areas would have already been evacuated and moved inside of the city walls, with ships ready to take them out at the fall of the city.Skorpiie wrote:Haranya wrote:OOC: The monarchy would never accept it but the Technocrats and Ynys would. OOC: Anything for the safety of the civilians! I will deploy the peacekeepers at Ynystere.
IC: Troopships rise from the horizon. Skorpiie deploys peacekeepers in Ynystere. The troops seem unsure that they should be here. The commanders know this is a risky operation, as they need to juggle the satisfaction of the Ynys and the Technocrats at the same time, as they are embroiled in conflict, and the peacekeepers dont want anything in the conflict. The only mission they have are keeping the civilians safe

All civilians, please evacuate major cities. Humanitarian aid will be provided at the all ports, compliment of Kostane and the technocratic forces. Again, evacuate major cities. Failure to comply puts yourself at risk of serious injury or death.

SIC: A private message is sent to the leader of the peacekeeping troops, requesting a list of locations where an attack could do minimal damage to civilians.
IC: The Kostan fleet begins heading towards Ynystere. Ahead of them, a single raptor-class drone ship is sent, which plays an audio message in the street:All civilians, please evacuate major cities. Humanitarian aid will be provided at the all ports, compliment of Kostane and the technocratic forces. Again, evacuate major cities. Failure to comply puts yourself at risk of serious injury or death.
