To all Democratic Nations
On Behalf of the Government of Georgia
I am writing to ask you to boycott the 76th Edition of the World Hit Festival and consider hosting an alternative event instead. You may not be aware that some nations have called for a boycott of the contest because of the participation of Lushansk and Ba'athist Iraq in the contest despite the invasion of our Nation by Lushansk which is ongoing as I write this letter , and its illegal occupation in Kuwait .
Many in our community are filled with grief as we are witnessing a genocide, livestreamed to our phones and television screens which has shall I say is still ongoing in our Country . We must all do everything in our power to show meaningful solidarity with our countrymen and the Kuwaiti People as they face down such horrific violence and continue to demand freedom.
