This suggestion is simple and straighforward:
If the design of the Season 4 cards is ready, publish the template some time before the inscription period starts.
It is not needed to disclose all the information yet: rarity status and rarity colors don't need to be disclosed. Those who need to match their flag with their rarity-color usually only need that for a few nations and can allready make a selection if the size of the flag-display is known.
Even if only the proportions of the flag-display are given out, that would be a big help to prepare the bulk of ones puppets for the new season.
Benefits:
- People with many nations have more time to create/find/crop fitting flags for their nations. This results in nicer cards for S4.
- You can keep the inscription period short, as players have the heavy work mostly done allready.
- All this can be done without disclosing rarities.
Drawbacks:
- It hurts the element of surprise: There is no longer one fixed moment when every aspect of the new season is revealed all at once. This can be mitigated by only publishing the bare essentials: the proportions of the flag-display.
