Dear Sir,

Thank you for your letter. Currently, Monteluci automobiles are manufactured solely in the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg, in our facilities clustered around the city of Venezia. Whilst it is possible to find employment in these facilities, we maintain a strong selection policy (even more so for the Ducareale assembly process) that picks motivated workers with the right mindset to follow a six-month training process before being allowed to manufacture our automobiles. As this means an investment in our human resources, we are of course very interested in maintaining our workers for some time to earn some return on our training programmes. Therefore, we hope to maintain employees at least for several years, and this would require a specific working permit. Nevertheless, if proposed workers can pass our selection procedures, we cam recommend them for such a working permit; we will however not need more than a few hundred employees per year, as we only have so many positions to hire for.

Due to the specific properties of the Monteluci brand (with its 'built in Van Luxemburg' reputation) and its fanbase, along with quality considerations, we do not allow the Monteluci automobiles to be manufactured at any other location than our own facilities. No production licenses will be given out for these cars, and all Montelucis will continue to be assembled at our own manufacturing locations. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but as you will understand, quality and brand heritage considerations are very important for us and exporting our assembly lines to other countries would mean staying untrue to our brand heritage and would pose a risk for us in terms of quality, as a new network of suppliers and quality control entities will need to be established that are guaranteed to provide equal or better quality than the factories in Venezia.

Thank you for your reply. Sadly, it is absolutely impossible for us to manufacture 1 million Ducareales annually for one customer, as this would exceed our manufacturing capacity for these cars. Furthermore, it should be noted that the Ducareale is an exclusive full-size luxury car that is usually bought by successful businessmen and high-ranking government officials. In order to meet the high quality requirements of these customers, part of the Ducareale is made using manual labour with very skilled craftsmen of which there are only so many worldwide. As we are using manual labour, this also requires us to instate stringent quality controls and we feel that we could not deliver such a massive number of vehicles without seriously diminishing our level of quality and requiring many, many extra hours in quality control.

Thus, I find it regrettable, but we will have to refuse your order on the basis that it is practically impossible for us to manufacture these vehicles to our standards.

All Duca models will be manufactured in the Venezia II plant, and we expect to end delivery of the full order of these vehicles in 3 (three) months. Aforementioned vehicles will be equipped with all standard equipment, in Grigio Vela (Vela Black). The logo provided will be attached, in vinyl, by a professional stickering firm for a price of $500 per car. The car will be equipped with the SFS Aerodynamic package and the 18' Double-spoke Veloce wheels. It should be noted that all Duca's presented in the brochure are equipped with these wheels.

Assuming you do not desire to make use of any further services or options from the options list available on these vehicles, the total cost will come to $145,600 (one hundred and fourty-five thousands, six hundred) USD. The total cost may be paid individually upon delivery of each vehicle, or in one lump sum at the final delivery. Automobili Monteluci's sales department holds a bank account with the Monteluci Bank, a fully-owned subsidiary of VLT Group Financial Services NV. This entity is subject to Van Luxemburger banking law, and has been certified to international standards.

As for the interest in a 1989 Tipo I with Ditheta V6, I am afraid that Monteluci can not offer a comprehensive reviews of all offerings available, as there are simply too many vehicles of these vehicles on sale and we cannot endorse one seller over another as we have no personal experiences with them, nor have we been able to review the cars on offer ourselves. This makes it very hard for us to recommend particular cars offered on the market, especially as the Tipo I is not strictly considered a classic car yet and thus are often not found for sale at classic car dealers.

If you are intending to import a standard production vehicle from Van Luxemburg, our company can provide the type approval information usually required for import vehicles.
