Welcome to the official portal of the Diplomatic Corps of the Kaneshon Kingdom of Kusatsu, a special project devoted to helping nations create consulates and embassies inside Kusatsu proper. The Kaneshon Kingdom is a land steeped in tradition, from its time as a feudal kingdom to a colony of the United Kingdom of Vionna-Frankenlisch. Gaining its independence as a sovereign state once again in 1967, the Diplomatic Corps of the Foreign Ministry was established shortly after the foundation of the new central government in order to facilitate the establishment of diplomatic relations with other nations in Teremara, Wishtonia and beyond. The project exists today as a beacon of cooperation between like-minded states with an interest in establishing fraternal brotherhood and camaraderie in a world marked by difficult troubles. We welcome you to our government's ourtreach program with open arms!
The Kaneshon Kingdom of Kusatsu is located in the Wishton Sea, a part of the region of Wishtonia. Founded in 1967 after three hundred years of colonial rule, the country's homogenous population of ethnic Kusatsunese and colonial holdhovers from Vionna-Frankenlisch formed a new constitutional monarch and unicameral parliamentary democracy to help govern the country. The Mikado of the Kaneshon Throne is the nation's titular head of state, while the leader of the legislature serves as the head of government. We hold our liberal values of free speech, freedom of assemlby, freedom of religion and freedom of the press dear. We are an environmentally conscious nation seeking to protect our valuable fauna and flora from the ravages of cliamte change. We are ardently opposed to the slave trade and seek to root it out. If your values align with ours, we invite you to form an embassy or consulate in Kusatsu!

KASAOKA is the capital city of the Kaneshon Kingdom, the seat of royal authority and the home of the national legislature, the Kaigi. Nestled in the heart of Toru at the foot of the country's highest peak, Mount Tatsumi, Kasaoka is a thriving cultural hub and a haven for connoisseurs of the arts and theater. Traditional Kusatsunese music fills the streets and can be enjoyed from the many tea shoppes and traditional onsen located here thanks to the geothermal hot springs running through the town. Kasaoka is also a major hub of commercial real estate and business opportunities, making it a perfect location for a consulate. Sporting endeavors around Tatsumi include hiking, mountain biking and recreational watersports. All embassies are required to be constructed in Kasaoka, while consulates may also be placed here.
MIHAMA is the largest city of the Kaneshon Kingdom by land area and by population, its chief economic center and the home of many famous residents in the film, sport and theater industries. A bastion of cultural consciousness and boutique neighborhoods, Mihama can best be understood by its rising quality of life, its eclectic neighborhoods featuring some of the most diverse artists and street performers, and a general laissez-faire attitude towards life in general. Major sporting events, including the national boxing league championship division and auto racing takes place in Mihama, and it is home to its own regionally-famous racing circuit, nicknamed Thunder Road for its exciting amplifying atmosphere. While no embassies are expected to be built in Mihama, the city represents a perfect opportunity to establish a national consulate.
OGAWA is the northernmost city on the main island of Toru, and is also one of its cultural heartlands thanks to the advent of two religions in the area during thie Ita period of Kusatsunese history. Ogawa is a quiet city, reserved and culturally conservative of its history as a major religious city in the Kaneshon Kingdom. That does not make it any less desirable for a consulate however, as the automotive industry in Kusatsu calls the city of Ogawa home, along with numerous technological-based enterprises making microprocessors and other computer chips. The high technology sector in Kusatsu's northernmost city is the largest per capita in the country's economic pie. People looking for good jobs and a quiet life flock to Ogawa in droves, making this location prime real estate for those nations looking to establish a consulate.
SAKURABA is the southernmost city on the main island of Toru, and is renowned throughout the region of Wishtonia for being one of the biggest meccas for gambling and tourism in the region. Tourists flock to the white sandy beaches and palm tree-ladden streets of this tropical paradise, relishing in boutique shopping and a nightlife scene that rivals any other major city in the world. The cosmopolitan capital of Kusatsu, the finance sector is a major player in the city's economy as well, with two of the nation's four largest banks headquarterd here. Sakuraba is also home to a robust fishing industry, with charters taking tourists out into the Wishton Sea to engage in sport fishing. Those looking to encapsulate the tourist lifestyle would find no better location for establishing their nation's consulate than right here in the city of Sakuraba.
