I’ll start off by repasting this message.

Admiral James Port of Kostane sends the following letter to various representatives of all involved countries in the war.

Dear Esteemed Representative,

You are cordially invited to attend a night of feasting and reconciliation in Sevregral, followed by official peace negotiations. You are receiving this letter due to the role you played during the Kostan Civil War. Your help or opposition will not be forgotten. We look forward to determining a global future that will prevent future wars and be beneficial for all involved.

Reze received the message as she was settling down for the night. Her compound, set up near the outskirts of Sevregal. Her personal bodyguard, by the name of Veronica, was the first to receive it- albeit without reading its contents. She immediately handed it off to Reze, who read it aloud for the two of them to process. Afterwards, the two of them briefly mulled over how they should respond.

Reze: “Figure it’s best if I take this one myself, no? It’d hardly be a long drive.”

Veronica: “But would it be proper of you to do so?”

Reze: “We’re not exactly brimming with talented diplomats. Besides, I can act quickly on any promises I make…”

Veronica: “…there is some truth to that, but such an endeavor may result in your demotion. Are you willing to take that risk just to show your good intention?”

Reze: “Yes. This is important. Don’t worry about me, alright?”

Veronica: “…very well, I won’t. Please do take caution, if not for yourself, then for everyone else who depends on you…”

And so, Reze would make the trip herself, with or without approval.

After Lori received the message, he was a bit confused. Wasn’t the war still going on? However, the latest report from the admiral in the area said that the war was lost. Lori was near the coast of Kostane in his jetski, so he decided to do a few more minutes of riding before heading to Sevregal.

The Marajarbian Federation would send George Collins to negotiate in the peace talks regarding the Civil War in Kostane during this ongoing Civil War Season. It was no secret that democracy lost in Kostane, and there were concerns in Andreusville that Kostane could seek revenge by continuing to ally with the ISD during what continued to be an ongoing brutal cold war between the Collective Security League and International Security Directorate. George Collins was sent to listen to the terms that would be presented, and to see if a fair compromise can be made.

Although the Principality of Arakhkhar did not participate much in Kostane’s Civil War, Arakhkhar remained a firm ally of Kostane - having sent submarines to help reinforce the blockade of rebel activities. Arakhkhar had, in a short time, become something of an unofficial speaker for the Directorate.

As such, Arakhkhar resolved to send the Lady Ve’la, who had worked out the treaties with North Sylvaria which had effectively bound them to vassalage, along with other diplomatic agreements.

The entire city of Sevregral has been put into what is essentially a lockdown in order to protect the incoming diplomats. Citizens are ordered only to buy stuff from underground black markets, rather than the normal places where the diplomats eat. As Port plans for the event, he asks everyone to send an RSVP with how many people he should expect to feed. They will be serving roasted Bison, rice, an array of fresh fish, several kinds of opioids, lettuce, broccoli, tomatoes, various wheat types, 200 proof alcohol, wine, TETeer, and various other foodstuffs upon request.

Reze would send her RSVP for 2- counting Veronica as her “aide”, which was hardly de jure or de facto, but she didn’t care. With a bunch of people high on opioids, she wanted at least one sober person in the room that she knew. The two of them had a brief conversation, with Reze driving after insisting on it for ten minutes straight until Veronica finally gave in.

Veronica: (after reading out the message sent by Port) “…er… pardon the distraction, Miss Reze, but what does “RSVP” mean?”

Reze: “…you really have never done anything interesting in your life, have you? I forget what it stands for, but it’s pretty much just sayin’ you’ll be there.”

Veronica: “Ah. Shall I do that? And for how many?”

Reze: “Two, stupid. What, you think I’m going into a room with that much drugs alone? Pfft.”

Veronica seemed pleased with this, though she didn’t let it show.

“Very well. I’ll do that right away.”

Reze: “Great. Also… what’s with the “Miss Reze” shit? Just call me Reze, I’m not that spectacular. Also, that’s an assumption if I’ve ever seen one…”

Veronica: “Hm? What assumption?”

Reze: “That I’m single. Bold, though right… but still. Drop the “Miss Reze” habit.”

Veronica simply nodded to herself, without saying another word, leaving tense silence hanging over the two of them for the rest of the ride.

“Salutations.” He says coldly, moving nearby to the Arakhkharian diplomats in an attempt to find a friendly party there, as his unnervingly cold gaze focused onto the Marajarbian representative. “British Arzelentaxmacone has.. considered its position here today, and we have made the determination that our diplomatic mission will officially begin its involvement into the Kostanian crisis.”

Any attempts to bring about compensation for the rebels would only add insult to injury.”

“Anyhow. The rebellion was an illegitimate terrorist organization. They have committed treason, and should be treated as such.”

Reze would make her entrance next, followed closely by her “aide”, Veronica. It was, as per usual, their appearance that made it very clear who they were. Both stood tall, and also wore very heavy armor- in Reze’s case, her chestplate extended into a flared series of armor plating that began to resemble a skirt.

“Hello. I’m sure it’s obvious to most that I’m the Eusan delegate here… did I miss anything of substance?”

“That “old order” stuff is ridiculous, there’s nothing remotely old about it.”

“Aha, perhaps not, but we name it that since it is decaying. Marajarbia, you would be lying if you said the CSL and its related oppressors are not clinging onto an egotistical agenda that is rapidly falling apart.” He smirked.

“It’s been around since the 1800s. It’s decaying, withering away - with your every act being the last firing of neurons in a rotting corpse, before finally, that too will cease.”

The Derezian delegate, Elizabeth Noril, would arrive as this conversation was ongoing. She caught the tail end of it as she sat down.

“Agreed. It’s crippled just by having to deal with anything but itself. It’s time for it to go.”
