The Law 'Goods Health Mandates' would set a standard for all products/goods that are to be sold. These mandates include:

1. Labeling and Packaging Requirements
a. All Labels of products/goods must show all ingredients or nutrition facts on a label, with the exception of foods that have not been altered in any way, or little such way, such as certain fruits. The Labels on such items must be clear and easy to read.
b. All Perishable foods must have an expiration date on their label, easy to read.
c. Labels and Packaging can not lie about a product/good.
d. Label information must include:
1. The common name of the good.
2. If made from two or more ingredients, a list of ingredients in
the product, including a declaration of artificial color or flavor and chemical preservatives,
if contained in the good.
3. An accurate declaration of the quantity of contents.
4. The manufacturer and place of business.
5. A declaration if the product is genetically modified
6. A declaration if the product contains additives of any sort


2. Company Standards
a. Companies can not rebrand and sell a product other than their own without changing the good.
b. Food served in food establishments must be obtained from places that comply with the law.
c. All potentially dangerous foods still permitted to be sold in food establishments, such as alcohol and raw meat, must be thoroughly checked and mitigated. If this has been done, these foods are exempt from clause 2d.
d. Food Establishments, Producers, or sellers that are found with poisonous, rotten, expired, or contaminated food must clear that section of food and check nearby areas. In case of extremely harmful foods, those buildings must be shut down for cleaning, or closed.
e. Expired food can not be sold at food establishments or grocery stores.

3. Cleanliness
a. Food Establishments must be cleaned daily. As well, cleaning and sanitizing food-contacted substances or utensils must be cleaned immediately.
b. Food Employees must keep their hands clean and wear gloves when cooking or preparing food.
c. Materials used in food establishments that have come into contact with food must be cleaned before being reused.


4. WA State Duties
a. All WA states must keep an Up-to-date Health Code for all food establishments to follow.
b. Street food is legal but must comply with all laws in this proposal.

5. Ethics
a. Food additives and colors may not be used to mislead the consumer about the quality of the good in an unethical way, such as trying to hide the fact that an Item is spoiled.
b. Drinking Water must be purified or come from a public water system.

What if my restaurant operates out of my personal kitchen? Cottage foods exist.

If you believe that it is beneficial to maintain the ban on this practice: Why do you define "private home?" The only reason you give for defining this term is to say that you cannot sell food cooked at a private home at a restaurant. Yet the only time you use this term otherwise is to say that you cannot sell food cooked at a private home at a restaurant. Your definition should be removed because it is unnecessarily duplicative of what appears earlier in your resolution.

Why can sales of over-the-counter drugs at pharmacies not be immediately processed, but instead "approved by a doctor or equivalent?" It would be beneficial if this requirement were to apply only to prescribed drugs.

Why does this resolution ban the sale of pasteurised milk? As you define "not altered," pasteurisation is a form of processing, as is packaging. Because packaged, pasteurised milk has undergone multiple forms of processing, it cannot be sold.

How do Articles III and IV promote healthy lifestyles?

Article X is so that you can not, for example, cook tacos at home and serve them at taco bell. You do not know what happened to that food.
Article XI is just so that people know then things expire, I don't know what is confusing about that.

also, I see no problem with these laws that would place such a burden on people serving street food.

But it doesn't? It plainly bans the sale of all such foods outright, nothing about labels affects that mandate.

Article X is so that you can not, for example, cook tacos at home and serve them at taco bell. You do not know what happened to that food.

What about frozen inventory that is then reheated? Or food products canned or jarred or boxed or otherwise prepared partway for human consumption, purchased by a "food establishment", and then sold to the end user? Is it illegal for the cheap Italian restaurant down the street to cook Barilla pasta out of the box? Heck, is it illegal for the grocery store to sell it to you?

Article XI is just so that people know then things expire, I don't know what is confusing about that.

Article XI reads "Materials used in a food establishment can not be used again without cleaning." If this is about expiration, then I'm even more confused than I already was.

Ok on number 1 i deleted the article because I Realized the uselessness of it

2 it says that the food must be made by the establishment, not the ingredients.

-the reason for the article is so that cups and silverware and such are used multiple times
