Azmen International Arms Expo 2024[IC]

Postby Azmeny » Tue Feb 27, 2024 3:19 pm

Day 1, Azmanev airport

Image

President Korolev gazed at the crowds filling the vast expo hall as he pulled the microphone towards him. The immense space is silent, eager with anticipation for the words of the Azmen leader. The transducer hums with anticipation. Korolev speaks.

“People of Azmeny and the world, it is a great honour to speak today to such a large crowd gathered here today for this expo. We are here to take in the new advancements in technology, that the past few years have given us. Hypersonic missiles, fighters invisible to radar, satellites to destroy an incoming nuclear weapon. These times of great uncertainty have seen greater technological development. With each crisis we face, it is essential for us to move, to look across the board and make our moves wisely, without rash bravado.

And let us celebrate that advancement, that despite this uncertainty Azmeny has emerged resurgent, a great power in this world. The globes eyes state on us.

And to think of this: it is a mere few months since the savage attack by the fascist east Rinaeran state on our people’s republic. That attack stole many a life from us, a damage far greater than the burning buildings or the twisted metal. I want you all to observe a minutes silence, for those who are no longer with us.”

Korolev falls silent. An Azmen flag stands on the screen, made up of the silhouettes of people, on for each victim. The Azmen soldiers flanking Korolev bare their heads and bow slightly, as a gesture of respect to their fallen comrades. The wounds of the attack still cut deep through Azmen society. Everyone in central Azmenabad remembered seeing it: the horrific pall of smoke, the burning of metal on the TV, the sights and screams of the wounded dragged to hospital.

And yet, Azmeny would not let its pride be sunken by the attack. Every Azmen knew what to do: they would not be defeated, and Azmen national pride would never be so easily sunken. The minute passed. Korolev continued:

“We owe it to those who died, in the attack and in service of our great nation to not let the terrorists break our backs, and hurt our prestige, honour and dignity. We will not cower in the shadows, we will climb into the spotlight! I know, as do all of you true Azmen that this mighty nation will endure. We will always be Azmen, and that is for us to take pride in, in our revolution and red flag. May our banner endure!

It is therefore my greatest honour, as President of this Peoples Republic to present to you the Azmen arms expo of 2024, and to present my message to the world: Azmeny is back, and stronger than ever!”

The crowd roars. Korolev supporters wave Azmen flags. The flashes of cameras go off, as Korolev beams at the crowd. An impressive performance. The floodlights behind Korolev now turn on, illuminating the key exhibit: an Az-144, Azmeny’s newest jet beside an old AZ-21, a liscence built fishbed, Azmeny’s first ever jet and flown by Korolev during the General’s War. It served as a stark reminder of how far Azmeny had come, of the breakthroughs made by its state run economy, and the growing military and technological might of the Azmen nation. How far things had come indeed.

As the celebration and fanfare die down, the stage lights up for the others, as the Gonswanzans stood proud, with weapons, armor, and aircraft on display. It was a minor section overall, but almost everything was for sale as Faust representatives stood with their detail, offering their services to anyone desperate enough to seek them out. This was a pool of sharks, and theres already blood in the water given the presence of foreign entities trying to sell off stock to the highest bidder.

Indeed, the most enticing deals likely came from the offer of tried and true tech: the ELT series has seen combat after all, granting a "budget tank" that can freely engage and support infantry with minimal logistical effort. The J-110 was baby's first fighter, given a reduced radar cross section and a flexible armament to enable use in various environments. The MGH-70 was unlike anything there, much like the AR-416, the latter being demonstrated to reveal its recoilless function.

Then there was the Boardhound armor on diaplay, videos showing live combat footage as 556 NATO fails to penetrate the armor itself, though infantry still get knocked around a bit as is typical with armor. Even a headshot is survivable, with little to no injury.

The gunships were also on full display, advertised as marvels of engineering for overwatch. Their armament is unique, but they offered plenty for the common buyer, a unique choice in the modern battlefield.

Finally, the GRS vehicles. Armored cars. Mobile HQs. Rolling barracks. Gun trucks. Logistics. They are the spine of the army, but the fast attack vehicles were excessively unique and a drastic form of whiplash from the typical armored doctrine. Fast, sleek, manuverable, and able to carry weapons for quick strikes against hostiles. The GRS 090 series is perfect for hit-n-run operations! Unlike the other vehicles present.

Of course, everything but the MGH was for sale. Sort of.

While most who were at the exposition were intrested in military hardware the Gestachians wanted to take a different aproach as they didn't want to sell anything to forgien militaries—at least in large numbers but they still wanted to show off some weaponry, so they decided to target the recreational market. From everything from a rifle from 1897 that is still being made today and a rifle that is still bleeding edge—4 decades after being introduced.

Mr. Aare polished the white surface of the Surmaingel 1 UAV with utmost care. Until now, few had seen one with their own eyes- just the people of Eestimaa Mandate Defense Works, and a few operators from The Daeva who had recieved a package of the vehicles to help stop the terrorist threat. Many, both in The Astral Mandate and abroad, had heard of the vehicle, but no images had yet been released that would have circulated. Today was the day that the new piece of equipment would finally reach the public eye. Along with the UAV was a dummy Tulevihm 1 missile. Both were impressive weapons of war, sleek and aerodynamic yet powerful. Mr. Aare couldn't help but wonder what the Expo's visitors would think of his inventions.

Gerard Parker, the Minister of National Defence of TGEC, and Maxime Belviere, CEO of Univeral Arms Exports stans in front of the Consortian aisle of products. They brought the latest developments in Consortian technology, including the renowned Armadillo Tank, the A, B, and C versions, alongsidr a wide array of other equipment. Next to it, the JF-20A and JF-20B were displayed, each with a Consortian airman ready to offer details about their specifications and performing maintenance. In the rest of the space allocated to Consortian product stood the brand new HERMES PANTHENON-II Long Range Air Defence system, which included a mobile L-Band radar, very similar to the TPY-4, a control station and a PAC-3 MSE battery with eight cells. Next to it, a JB-34 Light Stealth Bomber was displayed, a new product, available for purchase at Universal Arms Exports. A few meters behind the bomber, the MERCUR stealth missile was displayed, along with its launch platform, an M142 HIMARS. The missile was covered in MXene, a radar absorbant material, and could launch cover pulse jam operations while flying at high altitudes. In an aisle next to them, a dummy of a Consortian soldier wore the IES-P exoskeleton and the CARS augumented reality system, which provided imporved battlefield awareness.

Proudly, the two men stood next to the products, hoping to be flooded by potential customers. They both looked at the other products, especially admiring the Surmaingel UAV of the Astral Mandate.

Postby Independent Republic of Boldonia » Wed Feb 28, 2024 6:51 am

The Boldonian aircraft touched down on the day before President Korolev officially opened the exposition. A C-17 Globemaster III brought in the tanks as well as the equipment for the BA 45/80 exhibit, another brought in the parts for the drone mockup, and the AC-2 Bloodhound flew in on its own. The two M551A3 Sheridan MK.II light tanks were immediately rolled off of the C-17 and immediately driven up to their designated exibit, showcasing to the few people that were there the airborne capabilities of the Sheridan. The MQ-4F Cutlass wooden mockup had been created in such a way that it could be easily assembled and disassembled on a whim, so not but 5 hours after the planes first arrived the wooden mockup had already been put together and placed in its location.

When the expo opened the Boldonian displays were open up to the public, although they were dwarfed and outshined by the weaponry the other participants had to offer. Still the presenters, all of them being reservists and having volunteered for the role, did show those that did come by what Boldonia had to offer. The two M551A3 Sheridan MK.IIs were stuck in a sea of some of the most advanced armored systems the 21st century had to offer, sticking out as the black sheep amongst the crowd. The two tanks were of two different variants, one variant being the M551A3 Sheridan MK.II Mod2 armed with the upgraded M81E15 Rifled 152mm Gun/Launcher which fired the Shillelagh missiles the Sheridan was famous for, and the other newer one armed with the M35 105mm tank gun. Each of the tanks also had their co-axial machine guns replaced with the MG3 machine gun, which showcased Boldonia's international infantry armament. While people weren't allowed inside the tanks, at least for now, photos were shown which depicted the inside of each of the tanks. These photos showed the collision of modern American technology seen on the M1 Abrams and the old 1960s design of the Sheridan, with screens and equipment being bolted on wherever there was space.

The MQ-4F Cutlass wooden mockup was also placed next to the other aircraft at the exhibition. Although it might seem like an advanced design, it was no secret it was just a wooden mockup and barely any information was set out or presented. It pretty much was only present as sort of a scare tactic, to show the rest of the world that Boldonia had drones too and wasn't afraid to use them. Right next to it was the AC-2 Bloodhound, an AC-130-esque gunship built off of the C-2 Greyhound. Again much like everything else that Boldonia had brought, it was thoroughly outdated compared to the aircraft surrounding it, but that wasn't exactly the purpose of the AC-2's design. The AC-2, like the rest of Boldonian military ingenuity, was a pragmatic measure. Instead of spending millions if not billions on designing totally new equipment, the Boldonian military industrial complex was mostly concerned with modifying pre-existing equipment that could serve whatever purpose was needed of it and be produced cheaply and quickly. This methodology was showcased perfectly with the AC-2 Bloodhound, Boldonia needed a gunship for special forces missions that could take off from an aircraft carrier, so they took the rugged C-2 Greyhound and strapped a bunch of guns and equipment to it, not exactly the most refined but certainly very cheap and quick to do.

All of those were just for show however, the Sheridans and aircraft were mostly just there to showcase what Boldonia could do if pressured enough to make something new. What Boldonia wanted to sell was located in the infantry weapons section, the BA 45/80 submachine gun. A basic copy of the M3A1 Grease Gun, the BA 45/80 was an outdated design even by the 1980s (hence the 80) but there was a secret to the Boldonian arms industry that was on full display at the BA 45/80 exhibit. Right next to the display cases showcasing several BA 45/80 examples were two pallets, one of them had a bunch of plates of sheet metal and another had a crate of several metal cases. An sign with an arrow pointed from the sheet metal to the cases with "5 hours" printed on it. An example of one of the metal cases was placed on a table in front of the crate, this being the standard export case for the BA 45/80 currently being shipped to Rinaera by the hundreds. How this was accomplished was shown in a photograph right next to it, the image showed a large assembly line with several robotic arms and automated production equipment, with factory workers walking around with not a single finger in the frame being placed on a weapon on the conveyer belt. All of this to no expense to any prospective buyers, right on the case set out for display was a tag reading "$300" a low price compared to what the price of the items surrounding it was assumed to be.

As Korolev finally opened the expo, the red, white and blue floodlights in the Marinian section turned on, illuminating the Marinian display. Taking pride of place on a vast, shiny black stage was the XF-1J, a sleek, modern machine which demonstrated Marinian technical prowess - although this aircraft, an early demonstrator lacked many of the high-tech systems talked about at length in the glossy brochures that stood in a neat stack beside the information placards and miniature models. The jet's sleek exterior contrasted heavily with the cockpit. The perspex bubble covered a tangle of wires, small displays and electronic devices, necessary for testing purposes, which in turn hid a cockpit similar to the 30-year old IF-21. However, this was soon to change - the newer demonstrator aircraft back in Greater Marine were far more "complete". Next to it were several other aircraft - A H-220 utility helicopter, a H-160 attack helicopter, a TF-20 light fighter, IF-21 Interceptor and a T-10 trainer aircraft.

Unmanned technology too was on display - from large, plane sized combat drones such as the UAV-10 stealth drone, to the miniscule Northstar Hummingbird - a tiny quadcopter that could fit in the palm of one's hand.

Nearby, in the missiles and artillery section, a range of new gadgets were on display. A series of LOCM cruise missile dummies were suspended from the ceiling, diving in towards the charred shell of a ruined tank, whilst next to the fighters, a range of sleek missiles stood on end, the same missiles which were mounted on the IF-21. These included the AAM-7 IR air to air missile, the AAM-30 and AAM-64 radar guided missiles, cutting edge air to air weapons which were the backbone of the Marinian Air force. Taking pride of place was the HSM - a deadly hypersonic cruise missile which Greater Marine hoped could transform its armed forces. In the opposite corner was a fully assembled Guardian air defence system, with 4 launchers, and 3 large dual band radars.

On the other side of the main stage was the Rocketry and Space section. This featured a huge Altair II launch vehicle, a 50m tall tower of white-painted metal that stretched up to the vast ceiling of the hangar. The Altair II was the backbone of MSA, and a symbol of Greater Marine's spacefaring ambitions. Beside it were mock-ups of the Marinian-Daevic Cleareye reconnaissance satellite - although, understandably there was pretty much zero information on it. Arranged around the rocket were components of the ISO's latest defence project - Project Moonraker, a highly secretive missile defence project designed to defend the states that built it from nuclear strike - although these were, again only dummy satellites, with nothing more high-tech than gold tinfoil, wood and shiny metal.

The army section was a bit more mismatched - but nonetheless contained some very interesting things. Laser guns and augmented reality-enabled exoskeletons stood next to vast tanks, and decidedly old-fashioned assault rifles. The naval section was the smallest - or would have been were it not for the vast, black cigar-shaped submarine which stood at the back of the display. It had been an immense challenge to assemble the 80m long wooden model of the export-oriented seadragon class submarine - however, a team of 100 workers managed it in record time, and within 5 days after the teams' arrival, electricians had finished installing the mock displays that filled the skillfully recreated interior, which was accessible through a staircase that lead to a circular hole in the port side. As well as models of the interior and displays of the subs' weapons, a room in the 'submarine' also contained detailed models of the Navy's latest ships, including the Jupiter class destroyer, and Andromeda class frigate.

The Outer Shell of a 75m Aircraft stood proudly on display in full black. Looking oddly like an SR-71.

Infront of the aircraft, was Nikita Santana, the Least known royal of the Rheinish Royal Family.

Feld Marshal Hanz Tolo,
Chief Inspector of the Imperial Banner Banul Rakiya,
Chief inspector of Rheinish State police Hines Rakiya,
IS-1 Spec Ops Command Feld Marshal Hershey Zacker.

Alongside the Skelton of the Y-XP7 Prototype Aircraft, stood a Leopold 2a1P Prototype Tank, Different to Leopard.
20 N-7 Assault rifles were in Display Infront of the Leopold, the 30 others were in a secure gun safe, that when Gun Demos commenced, it would be taken to a range, and other Nations diplomats and other staff could fire it, and it would be demonstrated on how it works.

Standing next to the Leopold 2a1P, is a Leopold 3a7V+ Armoured Personnel Carrier. A Remote Controller Gun Turret ontop, with an automatic grenade launcher, TOW Missile and Javelin missile system launchers on display next to it, showing that the turret can be interchanged.

Off the back left of the massive aircraft, was a Stut-67T Helicopter with it's blades removed and on the ground as to not take up too much space. It wasn't being used by Rheinish forces as they have the Stut-70T and Stut-70A.

3 Canisters in a box with a Chemical Symbol on the side read with a plague underneath "BXZNO Tear Gas" a tear gas that was being phased in by Rheinish state police. And finally next to them are 5 TZ-11 tasers, a Taser with Four Cartridges that can be fired Semi-Auto.

Around the stand, were ALOT of men in Black suits with leg holsters and Ear Pieces, having IS-1 on the back of their suits, alongside secruity tags to be allowed to have a firearm etc.

While they were around the entire stand, and providing general secruity, 10 IS-1 Operators in Full Tac Gear with N-7 Assault rifles slung were present, 5 with the High Command of Rhein present, 2 at the Helicopter, 2 at the Leopold Vechicles and 1 at the Aircraft Skeleton.

The Commandant of all the IS-1 Present excluding the Head of Spec Ops was a Major who was attempting to locate the Amen Police Commissioner (? I assume due to the size of the event?) To make sure they had everything in order. Even if they didn't? National security is alot more important.

Day 1 of the expo

Image

The crowds at the expo regarded the displays with curiosity. The Azmen particularly were intrigued by the sight of shooting ranges and guns, things which to them existed solely in the army or in movies. Those strange objects were familiar from conscription, but at the same time a world removed from their civilian lives. Some were excited, others slightly worried, but reassured by the substantial police presence. Above all though, the big shiny things, the tanks, planes and missiles drew people to them like moths to a flame.

Azmeny was not to be outdone by these guests. The Azmen stand was the centrepiece of the large expo hall, featuring a dazzling array of weapons. At the plinth stood 2 fighter aircraft, the old AZ-21 next to the shiny AZ-144, a real show of Azmeny’s military technology and history. Beneath, stood a B-4 main battle tank. Beside it stood another similarly sized tank, hidden beneath a dark tarpaulin. Some things were best revealed later. The Azmen stand also had an extensive range of souvenirs, T-shirts and posters with patriotic slogans and pictures military equipment, being given out for free at the stand. After all, how else to intrigue young Azmen about their army?

The military too were intrigued by the various stands, although for other reasons. Azmeny knew well that despite its preference for domestically produced weapons, a few item’s needed to be purchased from abroad, and here was as good a place as ever to inspect what the world had to offer. After all, this cordial atmosphere starkly contrasted with the frosty official relations of the People’s Republic with many other nations. Key on this deathly shopping list were drones, difficult to manufacture due to the stunted state semiconductor industry. Given the choice at view, this was an easy issue to rectify, if a favourable deal could be made.

Minutes before the expo was formally opened, the Europeans attending made their last final checkups, removing any dust or dirt from the exponates and making sure to have comfortable lighting for each section and exponate. Minitors were powered on and tested on their images and videos, giving a shorter text summary about the exopants while showing unclassified testing footage of those in the upper left edge of those screens. Final checks were done, and with security as well as the engineer personnel present, the EFU opened its region to foreign visitors.

Image
Located in the most vissible spots, covered under the best light, and with the least coverage by walls or minitors, there were 2,5 exponates, those being multiple smaller mockups of the YX-31 5th gen multirole fighter, and of the Su-43 and its naval variant, the Su-43N. Especially the Su-43 has been set on show, with videos advertising its incredible manuverability being shown on multiple monitors at a time, while also videos of CATOBAR operations of its naval variant having enjoyed a great coverage. But its sensors haven't been left out; instead, they were jointly shown and advertised along with the YX-31s, given the extent of shared technology on those aircraft, showing partially censored images of exercises as well as pilot statments on the aircraft's sensor fusion and tracking capabilities. The Su-43 in itself was already a capable fighter, that could hold its own in both close in dodge fights and BVR combat situations, but in cooperation with the YX-31 was were it would be able to present the most of its capabilities. Staying next to the aircraft was the fitting ammunition, the European Komet BVR A2A missile designed as a modern addition to these capable aircraft and get out the best of them.
Image

Following these aircraft, as part of the aviation section, two more have been pressented, the USC-22 and Me-XNDR combat UAVs, and the newer and internationally previously unknown Ka-55 Black Knights attack helicopter. Both the USC-22 and Me-XNDR were on their own highly capable and combat proven systems, with the USC-22 having previously made its debut in the Frijheid conflict, in which the EFU used these to assassinate key members of the resistance movement and to attack convoys of rebel forces, operating for months without a single reported loss. Similarly, the Me-XNDR has gained popularity within the Luxenburgish war over Belgium and the following invasion by the Hanovarian Rheinland as the Luxburgish military began to employ them as the main backbone of their air force, given their versatility and use flexibility. Open source intelligence has gathered a lot of footage during their extensive use, which has been displayed on the monitors next to them as advertisement and proof for its combat use.
Image

The outlying one there was the Ka-55, which was technically brand new without much service outside of training behind it to advertise it similarly to the drones. But the people from the PR department prepared for this and instead advertised its young lifespan as an advertisement. The Ka-55 was new, but it was fitted to the brim with advanced avionics, which gave it unparalleled situational awareness on the radar IR and NV domains compared to other helicopters, while also fitting an advanced automatic flare dispenser mechanism and multiple directed infrared couner messures, capable of knocking out the heat seakers of incomming MANPAD missiles. Those defensive and reconnaissance features were supported by a hefty amount of firepower, with the large ammount of payload the helicopter is able to carry and the variety of equipment it can use, such as rocket pods, ATGMs, guided missiles, and A2A missiles

The Marinian defence minister got out of his seat, and began touring the exhibits. He was particularly drawn by the AZ-144, but not because he wished to buy one - but so he could weigh up the competition for size. Greater Marine wanted to present a strong bid for the 5th gen fighter program - and therefore was very curious about the Azmen bid. He went up to the stand, and circled it slowly. The jet was certainly imposing - huge next to the lightweight Marinian jet. However, he wished for this ulterior motive to remain secret - and he had been tipped off about Azmeny's drone shortage. So he went up to the Azmen defence minister, and extended his hand. "Mitchell Brady, sir. Pleased to meet you."

Nikita Santana inspects the assets on Rheins display. Responding with: "My Dog after jumping into mud is cleaner than those things, clean them quick." And as such, Engineers and mechanics that were building the parts, had to scrub the Leopold tank till it was good enough for Nikita.

The Head of IS-1 Spec Ops, with an IS-1 Tac Guard began patrolling around, looking at what other nations have, they had already bought UAVs off of the EFU, and they had the budget because the budget that was going to help easier immigration went to the you guessed it, the military!

Meanwhile at the Rheinish stand, Engineers open up several internal Missile Bays within the SR-71 Copy Aircrqft skeleton, with fake wooden missiles inside said missile bays, the openings opened in a sliding motion where it'd slide open and hide inside if the fuselage instead of opening up, the inside is also coated in black paint, to represent where tiles will be placed.

However this is an extremely early design of the body, and will likely be changed further down the line.

As things were winding up, with visitors gazing upon the tanks, gawking at gunships, and even poking at members of Faust, a strange box is rolled in, covered in thick canvas, with a thermal lining to hide what was inside from thermal cameras. A Trumpet MBT scale model was also rolled out as a placeholder, with a presentation starting soon on the Type 77, ZEEKA, Armadillo and Mixcoatl... Along with a GRS-650 being rolled in for show, delivering a unique asset of the 48th as a live guide for the scouts.

Of course, these assets were present and available as reps freely walked around, the MoD representative scoffing at the Hanoverian incarnation of the failed interceptor concept formerky known as the RB-12, a concept that never got off the drawing board given the impracticality of such a system even if it could be used for intercepting bombers using ground based radar.

... That is, if nations relied on subsonic bombers with a massive RCS.

Then there was the display of drones, which was cute, but the excessive cleaning of tanks seemed unnescessary and even withdrew from their appeal, while the ELT tanks, lined up by caliber, stood proudly with only some grit on them. News of a shipment arriving late did piss off the rep, however, as he barks at logistics to try to get them to arrive faster.

Things at the Gestachian booth were initially slow, this was not surpising as recreation was not the main focus of the event, so to generate intrest one of the Gestachian presenters went over to ask one of the Azmen police officers, "Do you want try out the rifle that we use back in Gestachia?"

"So, mind if we have a look at those air to air missiles?" asked a young man, dressed in the blue formal uniform of the Marinian Air force, as he walked up to the EFU stand. "See, we'd like to see how this stacks up against our own designs, because if it's favourable, we're looking for a partner state to develop our next-gen air to air missiles with."

The EFU display had easily caught the Marinians' attention. The country was looking to develop a new generation of air to air missile - and the heightened geopolitical situation had meant that Greater Marine needed the weapon soon - although the country could build its own missiles, the R and D process could be too long and complicated, given the short timeframe the government had given them.

Charlotte walked around, gracefully taking a walk to the interceptor designed by hanover, or at least as close as one could get, only to scoff and walk elsewhere to other exhibits. She wasnt amused by the impractical, but then again this was starting to turn into a heap of poorly made adverts in her view. Gestachians flaunting firearms, ironically, while others were trying to win bids with drones... Or more guns. She instead holds her tongue, as the Faust reps break off to offer their services.

Andrea had it easy. An eye patch, a stern look, and an artificial leg that doubled as a holster for her weapon. Dressed up in her suit, she was shadowed by two Faust mercenaries, though they later returned to the exhibit on command. Approaching the Gestachians, she hoped to make a deal, offering a hand to any reoresentative present, as this suit smiled warmly with the charm of a secretary. Indeed, she was getting paid not just to be here but to draw in new customers as well. Even if they were supposed enemies. Not that Faust cared.

"So, fine day, isnt it? I can offer you a deal, if you are willing to listen... Unless your nation really is disconnected from the modern world."

Frank however approached Nikita, offering a metal hand, as he seemed to smile given a warm greeting.

"Hello there! I see your country might be interested in maintaining peace... So why not let Faust solve your problems for you? After all, we can provide training, along with offering forces for use in conflicts supporting your armed forces or fighting in your place, saving lives in the process. No need to worry about diplomatic issues, after all."

"We are just presenters, so that is not in our authority, besides our military has a strict domestic equipment only policy and Gestachia is legally barred from using PMCs—for obvious reasons. We aren't planning on selling things to forgein militaries, at least in large numbers either. We are just showing off and might make some small sales, say do you want to try out some of our equipment?"

Andrea only had to take one look over the Gestachian arsenal to realize that the Gestachians were poorly equipped for modern warfare beyond a dozen meters. Besides the shotguns, which were in exceedingly rare calibers. If anything, she questioned how the hell the Gestachian armed firces managed to even secure anything when they had the worst guns shes ever seen since trying to pick out the slapjob rifles of post WWII Gonswanza crafted from bastardized combinations of bolt action surplus gear at an earlier Gonswanzan gunshow.

"I uh... I will respectfully decline, truly."

Seriously, that pump action rifle is going to haunt her dreams.

The Tiraskanian Minister of Defense Nikodim Matveev and Chief of the General Staff Vladimir Osipov walks around the exposition lightly with their arms behind their backs, almost like walking around in a museum. Their country did not have a booth opened in the expo - besides, no one would be intrigued to buy Russian weapons from the Cold War. They were simply here for what they humorously put as "grocery shopping." The first things on their minds are missiles of all types - anti-tank, surface-to-air, cruise, anti-ship - anything to at least scare the Russians off. And there seems to be plenty of options for them.

She shakes his hand.

Maxime Belivere, the CEO of Universal Arms exports, walked over to president Korolev. He was dressed in a finaely-tailored business suit, wearing a black fedora and wearing a red tie. Formally, he introduced himself, bowing his head to the president.

"It is an honour to he here, Your Excellency, Mr. Korolev. We wish to thank you for accepting to host our products and hope that you would be interested in taking a look at them" He said, reverentiqlly, pointing yo the Consortian aisle

"Im certain there is a reason why nations use more conventional rounds, sir, given the rather poor history of caseless rounds..."

She seems to seek an escape, realizing that perhaps she made a mistake approaching them, preferring the certainty of cased rounds even if they were supposedly inferior to caseless. The military preferred familiarity, Faust preferred convenience. And exotic rounds purpose made in an exotic csliber for a presumably complex rifle design that seemed more like a mess of parts left a sour taste upon her mind.

As for Frank, he coukdnt help but restrain a slight chuckle frlm the idea of peace through force.

"Indeed, sacrifices do have to be made. We will do anything required by our contractors to perform the mission and complete it, with nothing to tie your nation to the mission itself. At worst, there might be a news report aboit something detonating, but all in all its an acceptable loss for peace. We can only offer the best, once agsin, for your nation's operations."

A half decent pitch, even if they hinted at voluntarily comitting warcrimes.

"Yeah, external propellant caseless ammunition can be a bit difficult, caseless ammunition was part of our fléchette program, took us 11 years to get it right but the J7 was finally adopted all the way back in 1986, sure it had some issues but by around the mid-90s most of those issues were hammered out.

The AKL uses regular bullets but rather than using external propellant caseless ammunition it uses a 9x20.5 caseless internal propellant round. It was decided to use internal propellant as our chemical knowledge with the development of the external propellant helped reduce the issue of residue buildup, besides, how many times are you going to shoot a pistol before cleaning it?"

With an tablet in his left arms, he extended his right hands covered by a pair of formal white gloves, extending it for a greeting handshake. He readjusted his gloves afterwards and took the tablet into his hands and showed it to the Marinian.

"Greetings dear sir, my name is Luis I am an apprentice of Sirius defense and ammunitions LLC. I have seen you showed some interests in the Komet missile, it is a A2A missile for BVR combat, developed using proven technologies from the Meteor, which is also a reason why some people call it the Meteor 2 or Meteor-ER."

"I'm not really able to compare those to Marinian missiles, tho I can give you its specifics. It has a range of about 250 kilometers, tho this is just the range in which it's engines are still Bruning through, there are reports and pilot statements in which they managed to hit targets as far as 300 kilometers away, tho those have been mostly slower targets such as helicopters seaskimming cruise missiles or low flying aircraft. The no escape zone for its active radar speaker comes at roughly 40 kilometers. It is capable of active radar homing by its own or take guidance data from external sources such as radars or AWACS aircraft, while its also capable of tracking targets via passive radar and lock-on-jamming."
