What would happen if AU leaves NationStates forever?

After Buhers, New Texas Republic, and other significant nations left NationStates and there were many responses to that (like sig changes), I got inspired to make this thread.

So let's say for some hypothetical reason, AN and all of their puppets CTE'd and never came back again. How do you think you and the global NationStates community will react? What events do you think will happen? What will you do?

If the UCP suddenly disappears, there would be chaos everywhere as nations protest how they can't change their signature and other customizable fields anymore. I personally would be sad that I can't update my news bar anymore since I update that once in a while. And since I still have a few drafts lying around, I would be sad that all of those drafts will get lost forever unless I go around and search for them which to me is a waste of time.

Not exactly. Perhaps a few people would notice, but not find it notable enough to acknowledge. Since you are still quite new to NS, there wouldn’t be too much of an impact.

There would be a small online gathering for AU. While they post ninety five times out of hundred in Forum 7, their forays into the NSG forums, Factbooks & National Information, and Got Issues? are less clueless compared to many first-time replies in those corners of NS.
