The War of Trinidad

Postby The Commonwealth of Trinidad and Tobago » Sat Dec 09, 2023 2:37 am

Hello, comrades of The Pacific, World Assembly and beyond.
I, the humble nation of Trinidad and Tobago, come to you to address a very important topic. My neighbouring country, the Venezuelan Republic of Guyana and Suriname, has recently sent a declaration of war to my country.
Whilst we have been successful in briefly holding them off and even launching a counteroffensive against their capital, I fear we will not be able to hold off much longer without foreign aid.
Any aid will be appreciated and reciprocated in the future.
Kind Regards,
Prime Minister Christopher Singh of The Trinidad & Tobago Government

Libertarian Colombia, you are doing your people a very grave wrong. Your entire libertarian democracy is at risk from this!
Whilst we at the Brazilian Defence Forces promote the defence of weak countries above all else, we believe that your agreement with Trinidad and Tobago will decimate your economy and militia, ultimately leading to your countries collapse.
Our representative country Brazil has taken a firm and unwavering neutral stance in this war situation, so we will not be interfering and neither will the rest of South America. You are on your own and face invasion from Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, Columbia and Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname. You are going to destroy your peoples nation.
On behalf of the Brazilian Defence Forces, I hope you take what we say seriously and do not risk your country being destroyed.
~Commander Carlos Gomes~

Dear States of South America,

I proudly announce that i will be neutral in this conflict.
However if the conflict escalates i might help one of the two factions.
I have nothing more to say.

Dear states of South America and beyond,
Our militia has successfully conquered southern Trinidad and taken it from the country. The territory is now in the process of being incorporated into Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname.
With significant military contributions from Russia, Cuba and Venezuela, our rule over this region is undisputed. Any who challenge us will be destroyed.
Glory to VGS!

Corsica and North Sicily have taken a neutral stance in this war. We will intervene if it gets too bloody, but until then we will stay out of it.

The Cerespasian Government declares that they will remain neutral for as long as the war holds, however, they, along with National Armed Forces Upper Command (CNArFUCom), will be closely monitoring the conflict's progression, and if need be, are more than willing to send advisors and/or CNMC Overseas Expeditionary Units (OEUs) should the situation for either sides deteriorate.

Trinidad and Tobago, our country is maddened by your recent allies and the arrival of 3 million Guilders within your country.
We have a large space force, a large air force, a large naval force and an overall large military. We also claim the legal right to use nuclear weapons and have collaborated with the Nukes4U company to develop our first nuclear facility.
You must back down from the war and surrender immediately if you wish for your country to be safe.
Nonetheless, despite your strong militia, we will continue to stay in the war until the very end.

Our military has been embellished by the generous donation of guilders, and we now have 100,000 troops defending our country. With our increasing foreign support, we will surely win this war and overthrow the regimes of Venezuela and VGS.
Thank you for your generous support.

Trinidadians have reclaimed most of Southern Trinidad and left us with no choice but to use more force. We have sent our space force to cut off the country from satellite connection. We have also sent our air force to target key industrial hubs within the country.
Our militia has decided to abandon some of its outposts to attack crops and decimate agricultural areas within the country, which has proven to be quite successful, whilst we have also bombed mines within the country.
Finally, we are planning to send warships to cut off Trinidad & Tobago from the international community.
Glory to VGS.

Due to the recent development of the current situation, as well as several other factors, including Trinidad and Tobago's belligerent behavior on this corner of the world stage, and it siding itself with a probable threat to Cerespasia's interests, the Cerespasian Government and CNArFUCom have unanimously agreed to side themselves AGAINST Trinidad and Tobago. As part of Cerespasia's response, the National Marine Corps' 18th, 21st and 22nd OEUs, as well as the National Air Force's 48th Air Mobility Wing, 12th Airlift Wing out of Honecker NAFB will be put on standby until Operation Indies Palm is greenlighted by CNArFUCom.

In the meantime, the Cerespasian Government and CNArFUCom wishes to extend their request for permission from the coalition of nations, in particular, Venezuela, Guyana and Suriname to divulge their battle plans in order to coordinate a better plan of attack in the foreseeable future.

Fear not, Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname!
I, supreme leader Kim Jong Dae of North Amagesdon, declare my unwavering support for your country and your nuclear weapons program!
These 'dEmOcRaTs' may support your enemies, but my country is MUCH stronger than them! My militia is BY FAR the strongest in the world, and all your enemies will cry in despair when their army vanishes JUST. LIKE. THAT.
I hope to be hearing from you soon,
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Dae

Due to the recent development in the situation and the lack of strong allies, Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname is looking to back out of this war.
However, they will not do this without gaining as much land as possible.
Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname send 200,000 well-equipped troops to the capital of Trinidad & Tobago, capturing the capital and dealing a devastating blow to the country.
With support from Venezuela and Russia and no interference from Brazil, Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname easily push all their remaining troops through Trinidad and capture the rest of the island.
Now only Tobago remains, but it is still well-defended and ready to defeat the incoming Venezuelan, Guyanese and Surinamese threats.
Glory to VGS.

After losing Trinidad, its major island, to Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname, The Commonwealth of Trinidad and Tobago is now in a major predicament. Its international imports are now cut off by Venezuelan, Guyanese and Surinamese warships, and its capital has been taken.
Following these developments in the war, the Commonwealth decides to change its capital to Crown Point. This area is now well-fortified and is the base for building major industrial hubs.
However, the space force of Venezuelan Guyana and Suriname has threatened to cut off our satellite connections. Our prime minister makes no comment on this, however we will take action against this if it became a feasible tactic for the Venezuelans.

The Western Isles have begun sending supplies such as food and medical equipment, expected to arrive in 3 days. They have also sent government representatives who will set up shelters for civilians.

Although The Western Isles is endorsing Trinidad and the Trinidadian people, The Western Isles refuses to get involved in the physical conflict.
