this is moderation text but green. WTF does this mean and how is it done?

The tag isn't a magic way to make people's levels rise up!

And I believe one can quote mod posts with red text without having to edit them.

Will a user be punished for doing so? It's not in the OSRS (like the mod tag is), so perhaps it should be placed there alongside the mod tag?

Most websites allow the administrator to set role information alongside the user data, and only allow certain roles to have access to certain functions. Your user account doesn't have the "admin" attribute (or whatever equivalent applies) set, so the site knows not to even show you the buttons that would do admin-y things, and even if you somehow forged a request to do them, it would go "hey wait, this person isn't an admin!" and ignore the request.

I am extremely confused. The warn tag is specifically mentioned in the OSRS to not be used. Users are able to use both tags, and people who have used it have gotten warned for in the past. I asked whether a penalty is imposed on a player who uses the WA tag, and if they do get penalized, it should be also stated in the OSRS.

I suppose my mind has been conveyed unclearly . . . again.

If the mod team doesn't want users to use the WA tag, in the same fashion as them not wanting users to use the Warn tag, then it's not really a big drain on resources to add a line about it to OSRS.
