History
Air STR launched in 1944 as Air StrayaRoos, operating a rudimentary route between Circunses and Coal Coast, which stopped in Panem, Pale and Richmond, due to the range of the Douglas DC-3 being quite short. The Airline entered the Jet age with the Boeing 707-120, which was able to do the airline's flagship long haul route, Pale to Blidyy, Strayan Rus, with 3 stops: Duomji, Colombo and Dubai. The Boeing 747 came next in 1972, allowing the airline to cut the Duomji and Colombo stops in favour of the single stopover in Dubai. Air STR has remained a strong player in the Roosian aviation industry since it's inception, despite facing competition from numerous other airlines. Other milestones include the foundation of STRstar, an wholly-owned low cost carrier, in 2004, and the launch of direct Pale to Blidyy flights using the A350-1000ULR in 2022.
